Remember what Reforms initial response was to what we've all seen today. It wasn't to condemn or disown the party members exposed. It was to attack the journalists exposing it.
🚨ITV and Hardcash Productions have engaged in probable criminal activity against Reform UK. My statement on their actions and security implications. Mainstream media will stop at nothing to harm Reform. We will not let them.

In preparation for the ITV undercover investigation of Reform UK I am preparing my response: -It was just locker room banter -That’s how people talk outside the Westminster bubble -The person being racist was just a contractor -The investigation was illegal and we are suing them

This guy utterly dismantles the populist politics of Reform and Restore in 90 seconds. It’s actually quite beautiful. Take decades of deep-rooted problems in Britain and convince people that a relatively tiny proportion of the population is responsible for all of them. Housing, the NHS, crime. Blame illegal migrants for everything. Suddenly, you don’t need credible solutions to the housing crisis, NHS waiting lists or crime. You just need increasingly extreme policies on immigration. And by the time people realise you never had meaningful answers to the vast majority of Britain’s problems, you’re already in power, handing out tax cuts to your donors.

Reform UK is complaining to Ofcom and engaging lawyers about an ITV investigation produced by Hardcash Productions. That's the same production company behind major investigations such as Undercover Mosque, Saudi Arabia Uncovered, Undercover in Britain's New Far Right, Russell Brand: In Plain Sight, and Fearless: The Women Fighting Putin, the latter winning a BAFTA. Hardcash has also won multiple Emmys, BAFTAs, Peabody Awards and Royal Television Society awards for its investigative journalism. Of course, if Reform believes broadcasting rules have been broken, it's entitled to make a complaint and Ofcom can decide the facts. But it's worth remembering that these allegations are being made against one of Britain's most established investigative production companies, with a long track record of award-winning public interest journalism. Meanwhile, Reform itself has spent much of the past year facing scrutiny over its funding and donation arrangements, including allegations arising from undercover investigations and ongoing inquiries. Reform denies wrongdoing, but the contrast is striking: a multi-award-winning investigative producer accused by a political party that has itself been repeatedly forced to answer questions about its finances and donors. Complaining to Ofcom is easy. Discrediting the credibility of a production company with a record of BAFTAs, Emmys and some of the biggest investigative scoops in British television is rather harder. I for one can't wait to see it, and I'm sure the timing of its release will be perfect.

One of the men in this picture is a politician currently serving 10 and a half years in prison for accepting Russian bribes. The other was his boss and doesn't think there's evidence of Russia interfering in UK politics.

What Boris Johnson is doing here is finding a way to grossly mislead us all without telling a direct lie. Let me explain how... The 2020 Intelligence and Security Committee report found that the government had "failed to adequately investigate potential Russian interference in the 2016 Brexit referendum". It did not conclude that Russia had not interfered. It concluded the investigation was a failure. The US investigation, however, backed by a comprehensive, bipartisan Senate inquiry, did establish extensive Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.
This is just not true. As soon as I became foreign secretary I asked the security services the same question and they replied that there was no evidence of any successful interference in the 2016 referendum, by Russia or any other power. Either the security services have changed their view - which would be very odd - or Burnham is lying about what he has been told. After all Starmer was in power for two years and had access to exactly the same information. theguardian.com/technology/2…

Dear Diary, I appointed my former UKIP Secretary & Candidate, and Reform UK's barrister Adam Richardson to 'investigate' my long-term friends Dan Jukes/James Orr. I then told the Telegraph that he was an independent lawyer and they printed it for me without question.

I know RAF Fairford is newsworthy because five British nationals suspected of terrorist offences have been arrested and then bailed, with the PM hinting at possible Iranian involvement. Today a dual Iranian–British national became the sixth arrest. Now imagine, in another scenario entirely, a different “sixth man”: a British national - let’s call him Nathan - arrested for acting on behalf of a foreign state, say Russia, and manipulating others into carrying out stupid acts that damage the UK. Like nicking fuel around a US airbase, or voting Reform. Makes you think.😂
