The Magnetic Man
Today, 40 men come together on the coast of Spain to kick off the Brotherhood and the Inner Circle retreats: 4 days full of epic growth, epic adventure, with epic men. This is what it's all about.
We usually don't share the behind-the-scenes, but we're going to try to do it a little bit more this time so you guys can get a glimpse of the path that some men choose to step into.
Five of us from TPM will be leading these men through what will prove to be a life-changing experience.

When's the last time you had nowhere else to be?
Not "cleared my afternoon." Actually nowhere.
Beach in Maine today. Kid, boogie board, gap tooth grin, phone in the bag for three hours.
Took longer to build than the business did.
On the grass in Bend right now. Sun going down, my wife's head on my shoulder, Luke Bryan about to play.
Doug 1.0 would be in the parking lot answering email and calling it responsible.
The marriage doesn't get saved by the trip you keep postponing. It gets saved by the night you didn't skip.
Sunday coffee date with my daughter. She got hot chocolate with extra whipped cream. I got an hour with my phone in my pocket.
She'll forget the hot chocolate. She won't forget that Dad said yes.
12:08. Level 1, be ready to evacuate.
3:27. Level 3. GO NOW.
A few hours to decide what matters. Sounds like plenty. Most of it goes to telling yourself it won't come to this.
I walked past almost everything I'd worked years for.
Grabbed my people.
You don't need a wildfire to take that inventory.
My daughter is force-feeding my son ice while he screams and pedals a Peloton as hard as he can.
They invented this game themselves. I just get to be in the room for it.
You build the whole thing for the random afternoons nobody would ever put in a frame.
Tennis next, then the World Cup final. This is the point.
What's your first thought when you see this desk?
It's not the screens. That's the part everyone gets wrong.
I found a way to point my ADHD-ish brain at three things at once. Filming course content for The Activated Couple. Clearing Slack. Building my AI army. All happening right now.
Most people build a setup like this to do more.
I built it so I could leave.
Off to lunch.
I asked an AI to take over as CEO of my life this morning. 90 days, full authority, go.
I expected a plan.
It came back with questions.
Standing on a dirt road at 6am, I didn't have fast answers.
Wasn't missing a system. I was dodging a question.
What would it ask you?
When's the last time you closed the laptop and meant it?
I used to take my family somewhere beautiful and spend it heads-down. "Back in five." The five that ate the afternoon.
Then I built the business to run without me hovering over it.
Freedom was never the money. It's closing the laptop and knowing it holds.
Kids up at 5. Truck packed. Starlink on.
Erin and I trade the wheel all day. One drives, one works.
We built a life we don't need a vacation from.
The dream still gets built. It just gets built with them in the backseat, not away from them.
Found this on the whiteboard after everyone left.
"Big love from Pine Siskin School."
The school came to the ranch for their boat day project. We didn't run it, just opened the gate and got out of the way. Tim Matthews, the crew, the family, all happy to have them.
You build a place for serious work, then a school leaves two hearts on your whiteboard and you remember what it's all for.
Your wife doesn’t want you to talk more.
She wants you to lead.
Stop explaining. Stop waiting for her to tell you everything.
Take action. Be the man she once admired.
Your wife is not your roommate. She's your partner, your lover, and your teammate.
I used to think working harder, playing the role of a "nice guy," and giving her what she wanted would save my marriage.
It didn't.
I had to take back leadership, stop explaining myself, and become the man she always admired. I was trapped in a cycle of making excuses and reacting to every situation. By reclaiming my power and confidence, I shifted the dynamic, bringing back the passion and respect we both craved.
Become the lighthouse she needs, and watch your relationship transform.
Men try to save their marriage the wrong way.
I used to think working harder, being nicer, and waiting it out would fix things.
It only pushed my wife further away.
I made one change that turned everything around.
I discovered the power of initiating Date Night. By taking charge, planning something fun, and adding a touch of mystery, I reignited the spark that brought us closer together. Regular date nights became key to reconnecting and rediscovering each other.
It's incredible how a little planning and intention can transform everything. Want to know more about improving your marriage? Check out "A Man’s Guide on How to Save Your Marriage"
Most entrepreneurs fail at stage three: the "valley of despair."
They get stuck, lose focus, and chase new ideas instead of pushing through.
The solution? Stay committed, test everything, and embrace failure as part of growth.
Success comes from skill acquisition, strategic hiring, and making data-driven decisions.
Hard work itself can be the reward—if it aligns with what truly drives you.
I'm looking for someone to speak to a group of business leaders on the future of AI and ways to leverage current tech. Who would you recommend?
