DA Fitzpatrick's cross examination of #DrNeulader expert is recreating the murder theory under the guise of asking whether the expert had considered all of the remarkable circumstances of the case. Causing numerous objections.

We're getting ready for DA cross of #DrNeulander forensic expert, Dr. Jonathan Arden.

Defense expert stresses that DA's theory of Leslie Neulander's fatal head injury is "extremely rare," and impossible when looking at all circumstances.

Now we get to #DrNeulander's first expert, longtime medical examiner Dr. Jonathan Ardan. Has credentials that match up well to some of DA's experts.

First #DrNeulander defense witness is Leslie's sister, Joanne London, who reprises her defense of Robert. Suggested that Robert's story of morning of Leslie's death was typical for family.

DA Fitzpatrick notes a key point: he doesn't have to prove exactly how Leslie died. But, he says, there's proof beyond a reasonable doubt that it wasn't a slip and fall in the shower. If that didn't happen, then the jury can conclude that it was murder.

#DrNeulander judge denies defense request to toss murder case before going to jury. As expected.

#DrNeulander assistant defense lawyer Julian Brod noting no murder weapon, no proven motive, no eyewitness. Says experts changed testimony, there are too many holes in case to prove guilt.

In every trial, defense tries to have case tossed before putting up their own witnesses. That's ongoing in #DrNeulander trial. Will fail, but preserves record for an appeal if convicted.
