A Rebuke to Those Who Have Broken the Covenant of Man and Wife
Hear the word of the Lord.
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Repent.
You who took vows before God and witnesses, and then treated the bed as if it were common; you who called a man husband with your mouth and then gave your body to another; you who dressed betrayal in the language of freedom, healing, self-love, and “my truth” — the covenant is not yours to shred.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
— Genesis 2:24
What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
— Matthew 19:6
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
— Hebrews 13:4
God will judge. Not the feed. Not the group chat. God.
You have not merely hurt a man’s feelings. You have lied in the dark against a vow. You have taught children that promises are costumes. You have called evil a journey. You have taken what was holy and made it cheap, then demanded to be called brave.

Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

Your OC reflecting Job 38:12-21: the angel commanding the morning and dayspring, light shaking the wicked from the earth, over the springs of the sea and the gates of death.

Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment. And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken. Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all. Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof? Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. The only way to the Father is through the Son who paid the price.
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
(1 Peter 3:18-22)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(John 14:6)
