Elon Musk has stated that Tesla can turn off your car at any point. SpaceX can turn off your wifi whenever they want. They've threatened to use these features if they suspect your an undocumented immigrant attempting to flee. They've shut down Starlink during crises. Now they shut down Starshield in Ukraine due to their attacks on data centers in Russia.

We had nothing to do with it. Nobody ordered Starlink's speed to be slowed down. It sort of happened. My understanding is it's been restored. It's back to where it was before.

On October 16, 2026, Trump signed an executive order waiving new sanctions on Russia passed by bipartisan majorities in Congress and signed into law just last month.
This decision insults America’s commitment to democracy and our brave men and women in uniform, as Russia helps Iran target American forces.

So Musk approaches Trump with a really neat plan on how to send a message to Zelenskyy, who Musk is losing his patience with for failure to capitulate, and Trump and Hegseth agree. They coordinate this with Putin. There is a night of carnage in Kyiv as all of a sudden Ukrainians are unable to defend themselves. Innocent Ukrainians die at the hands of Musk, Trump, Hegseth and Putin. If not for what those four agreed to do that night these dead Ukrainians would be breathing right this moment. Musk quickly disowns any responsibility the next day out of concern that bad publicity could affect European business. Nice job electorate. Really sweet. Because of your stupidity and carelessness the United States is now a country that murders its friends' citizens just to teach them a lesson.
