NO WE’RE NOT!!!! The whole idea that if “The Liberals” win Christianity will lose, be destroyed or lose its effectiveness is nonsense. Christians have NEVER needed to have political and cultural power in order to thrive. The Gospel has ALWAYS thrived outside of it. This is fear and a desire for control in the name of Christianity.

Sadly, the Republican Party has become the party of megadonors. Ken Paxton illustrates this phenomenon as pointed out by Glen Rogers, conservative Republican and former state Rep.
“Billionaires and a trillionaire can spend unlimited amounts of money in these elections, and the Supreme Court let them do it in the Citizens United decision. Paxton recently praised that ruling, saying that super PACs saved him in this race. Yet then privately, from leaked audio, Paxton complained that he has no control over his campaign and that the folks in Washington were controlling the message. Paxton’s leaked audio provides further proof that he is a puppet — just what the megadonors ordered.”
Look at the impact megadonors have had in his campaign.
This is a lie that multiple news outlets declined to publish because it’s demonstrably false:
- The account was created by a bot
- It was only active for 54 seconds
- The profile birthdate is not Talarico’s
- The profile zip code is based in LA
- The account is part of the same bot operation that made millions of other accounts with stolen data
The most powerful people in the world know they can’t beat James Talarico with the truth, so they’re slandering him with AI deepfakes, foreign bots, and conspiracy theories to protect their broken, corrupt political system.
EXCLUSIVE: JAMES TALARICO'S ATTORNEYS CONFIRM HIS EMAIL WAS USED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON ADULT HOOKUP SITE FLING.COM!
An email address Talarico's attorneys confirm belonged to and was used by the Texas Democrat Senate candidate appears in Fling.com's 2011 data breach — username "mohawk787," created December 26, 2010, just before Talarico started teaching sixth graders.
The profile's listed interests: "FETISH," "GROUPSEX," "SEXUAL RELATIONS," "ONLINE FLIRTING."
The record is marked "email_validated: Y" — meaning the address was verified rather than left at the default setting.
The same email appears in Myspace and Zynga breach records. The IP address used to create the Fling account also shows up on an online video game record tied to an email associated with Talarico's sister — a match the attorneys did not dispute.
Talarico's lawyers responded 35 minutes after Townhall reached out with a four-page letter claiming, without substantiation, that a hacker created the account using his email, and noting the birth date and ZIP code on the profile don't match his.

Let me get this straight.
@GregAbbott_TX gives $2B in tax breaks to his largest campaign donor Musk, then appoints his hand-picked comptroller to administer & oversee compliance of those incentives, who also has financial stake in Musk’s companies.
They really are selling Texas
Comptroller Don Huffines is manager of a venture capital firm that invests in SpaceX.
He didn't include it in his personal finance disclosure required of candidates.
The Comptroller administers upward of $1.7B in tax breaks for SpaceX.

The Abbott ads attacking Gina Hinojosa are so misleading and deceptive. The idea that Hinojosa could impose a state income tax is ridiculous or that she is for open borders is a fantasy. Abbott’s attacks on teachers and public schools during his rallies at private schools for vouchers were disgusting. He has shown he will say anything or do anything to hold on to power. It is amazing that Hinojosa is so close to him in polling given his 8 to 1 advantage in campaign funds. With Abbott follow the money including the millions he has received from developers of data centers.

It was actually our 250th anniversary.
Not that you would know — you spent it with the British.
Paxton: On July 4th, we celebrated the 200th anniversary of our country.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
July 4 2026 marked the 250th anniversary of US independence not the 200th as claimed in the video. Multiple reports placed Paxton in London England that weekend with videos of the trip.

NEW AD: Have you seen these anti-Talarico attack ads?
Elon Musk paid for nearly all of them.
The world's first trillionaire knows if he drags the most corrupt politician in Texas across the finish line, Ken Paxton will owe him everything.
@ElonMusk: Texas is not for sale.

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.
Great info on who Paxton really is and how he abused his office.
Jameson, the “set aside personal controversies” framing doesn’t hold when the controversies are official acts as AG.
Impeachment articles covered abuse of office, using the AG’s office to benefit Nate Paul (including intervening in litigation involving a charity), and firing the whistleblowers who reported it. Those aren’t private scandals—they’re how he exercised (and abused) the powers of the office. Constitutional conservatism includes the rule of law applying to the person who enforces it, not just suing the feds.
Beyond that:
Texas Constitution Article VII, Section 1 requires an efficient system of public free schools. Vouchers raise a legitimate constitutional question—that’s the AG’s job to assert or defend. He has deferred to donor priorities instead.
The Texas Constitution has never given the AG general original criminal jurisdiction; that belongs to local prosecutors. When the Court of Criminal Appeals (all Republican) held in State v. Stephens that a statute letting him unilaterally prosecute election crimes violated separation of powers, Paxton’s allies targeted three of the judges who joined the majority. They were ousted in the 2024 primary. That’s not defending the Constitution—it’s punishing judges for applying it. It’s demanding activist judges which is opposed to the foundational premise you purpose to hold.. yet you too will excuse it.
He refused to defend the Texas Ethics Commission against Empower Texans (tied to major donors). Selective defense of state institutions.
Significant losses and resource expenditure in high-profile Biden-era suits. In the State Bar matter tied to the 2020 election lawsuit, he argued the AG is not subject to ordinary bar rules for official actions.
Texas’s data-center sales-tax exemptions (which he supported as a legislator) have been projected to cost billions in foregone revenue amid growing local concerns over water and grid impacts. Many projects involve limited transparency. The AG’s office has not been aggressive in scrutinizing them.
When the Abbott administration delays or downplays data on maternal deaths or other inconvenient facts, Paxton does not act as an independent check. He protects the political team. The constituents are not the herd; the leadership is.
The pattern is consistent: usurp local control at the state level, then yield state power when it conflicts with national MAGA priorities. The apparatus treats Congress and the courts as subordinate to the executive and demands “unity to the team” from the ISD board up to the Senate. That team is not the public. That collapses federalism, states’ rights, representation, and the rule of law.
Challenging federal overreach is fine. Desired. Performative politics is not. Suit for the media blitz knowing you’ll lose in the law is harm. Outsourcing suits at $2500/hour while drawing a salary and paying a full staff and then cheering the work as one’s own is astounding. Doing all that while hiding $27M and 15 properties in a government salary is beyond.
Treating the AG’s office as a political and donor instrument while ignoring or undermining Texas’s own constitutional obligations, limits, and structure is not Constitutional.
And because you’re right that this matters to me: Character and public trust aren’t optional extras; they’re part of the job.

Oklahomans need to rally behind Inola. The United Arab Emirates owned smelter plant, backed by @MazzeiMike, will destroy the livelihood of the farmers and ranchers of Inola and the surrounding region.
Don’t forget that Sean Koeplin who is the Chairman and CEO of Regent Bank, the bank that gave Mazzei millions in campaign loans is also currently on the Oklahoma Business Roundtable, along with Ryan Plotkin, who is trying to build a plant adjacent to the Inola smelter.
Connecting all the dots reveals many potential conflicts of interest.
🚨 PORT VOTES TO SUE INOLA 🚨
Today the Tulsa Ports board voted to hire Gable Gotwals to sue the Town of Inola over its limits on industrial development at the port, where they want the smelter.
It took about a minute.
