Hello there. 👋
So last week my main account was unfortunately hacked and I was temporarily locked out. Thankfully I’ve now regained control, made the necessary changes and I’m in the process of re-following everyone the hacker unfollowed in the interim.

Oh my fucking god. I can’t believe it’s actually happening. And the fact that DICE are teaming up with Respawn this time is just utterly perfect.
BioWare shutting down leaves a sour taste though. EA are ghouls, the absolute worst of the worst.
“Star Wars: Battlefront 3” is actively in development at Electronic Arts, multiple sources confirmed to Variety.
The news comes as EA undergoes its first major restructuring since going private this summer, with layoffs expected to affect about 400 staffers (3% of its global workforce).

Getting Battlefront 3 but losing Mass Effect in the process I’m so conflicted

This came completely out of left field for me. It feels wrong losing an RPG trailblazer like BioWare, especially bc of corporate greed. Forever grateful to them for crafting iconic series like Mass Effect and Baldur’s Gate and leaving an indelible mark on #StarWars with KOTOR.💔

It’s so joever 🥀🥀🥀🥀
RIP BioWare, one of the leaders of the RPG genre in the 00s and early 2010s. Makers of KOTOR, one of the greatest Star Wars games ever made.
The BFIII announcement is to cover for this massive loss to the gaming industry.

luke and ben’s master/apprentice & familial bond is so unique amongst the jedi and so heartbreakingly tragic yet we have so few stories of their time together. wish they’d make more

The games industry is really struggling in the current environment. Games cost enormous amounts to make & take ages to release so one flop kills a company. Smaller, cheaper more focused games like we used to have seems like the way out. Games don't need to be story & multiplayer.

Now that I am finally home to address this, yes, it is incredible that Battlefront 3 is more than likely happening, but at the same time it is sad that BioWare has ceased to exist, along with Dragon Age and Mass Effect seemingly becoming dormant. (1/5)

To help against misinformation:
This is the result of the Saudi Arabian buyout deal. The most ridiculous deal ever made where EA could barely cover the cost of the debt it accrued.
A lot of people will attach their personal feelings to the "why" but this is the real reason ^

this is literally like the 15th time im going to tweet that a shot from the last jedi looks like a beautiful painting but i can’t help it because it’s true. what a gorgeous film
My favourite shot of the whole film. Perfect framing. Perfect payoff to Luke refusing the call to action at the start. It even manages to call back to one of Yoda’s most important lessons to Luke. “Size matters not.” Love this scene. #StarWars #TheLastJedi

we don’t talk enough about how insane it is that LFL can spend $3M on a script, commission concept art, and spend two years developing a movie that all the top brass at LFL was supportive of…all for a single disney businessman to have the power to cancel it.
that’s bleak.
