We met Sam and Minnie at the road in Port Union. What a beautiful people. She just had surgery, and Sam was out helping. She started talking about all the children they had taken in and brought up over years. One of them is a pastor in Labrador. They deserve a humanitarian award.
Definitely worth a visit to Bonavista to see Mary Ann Penashue’s amazing art.
