Friends, this is urgent. Families in Gaza are starving and need our help. I have donated to and been following this soup kitchen since they started. They provide hot meals to thousands & they need funds to keep going. Please consider donating & sharing. gofund.me/aab9459d

Take-away's: Model-based planning... 🍽️ does not improve following ketamine 💉, antidepressants 💊or iCBT 🧑‍💻 🍽️ is not necessarily compromised in depression & appears specifically linked to compulsivity 🍽️ may be trait-like rather than state-dependent

Happy to share that the first first-author paper of my PhD is now published in the journal of Alzheimer's and Dementia! 🧠
A new citizen science study led by researchers in @PsychologyTCD has shed fresh light on dementia risk factors and cognition. Read more about this #TrinityResearch here: tcd.ie/news_events/articles/…

Thanks @START_ERN for highlighting my research using smartphone-based tasks to understand habits 🔎 Exicted to be presenting these games through our lab’s 📱-app @neurekaApp at today’s #EuropeanResearchersNight #STARTatERN #researchMATTERS
Meet the Researcher! @Donegankelly from @neurekaApp @PsychologyTCD says #researchMATTERS: if we understand how we form habits, it can help us promote healthy habits like eating well & curb our unwanted bad habits. #EuropeanResearchersNight #STARTatERN 🔗start-ern.org

Didn’t think the two-step task could get much better… but it has 👏🏼 Super interesting to see my work replicated & extended! Nice demo of how📱& modelling can help our mechanistic framework of compulsivity 🆒🆒🆒 @toby_wise
📰 New preprint! We show using computational modelling that transdiagnostic compulsivity is associated with greater uncertainty about learned task structure This work was led by Siri Sookud, starting during her MSc Thread below👇 osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/zp… 1/n

I was on @drivetimerte on Friday talking about Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours. It's always scary being on national radio, especially about such a sensitive topic, but knowing it might make a difference in even one person's life makes it worth it: rte.ie/radio/radio1/clips/22…

Reflecting on a good time at #CPC2024 in Minnesota. Grateful to have had the opportunity to present results from my PhD alongside some 🌟 speakers Zegou Qui, @nessambrown & Hilmar Zech where we discussed techniques to improve reliability of our measures 📏

And thank you to everyone who came by my poster session afterwards who spoke kind words to a (very) nervous public speaker 🫶 and gave me a lot more new ideas to work on! 💭
