Brother Nuri is always on point.
"Whenever a female became a pleasure box, a personal maid, and a cook, and when the man became a human ATM machine, a bodyguard, and a handyman, then now everything becomes transactional. ... You can have great love in a studio apartment that's greater than somebody that's in a big mansion." - @BrotherNuri
The woman who appears towards the end of Conan's Subway Takes clip, was going riff for riff like a comedy vet.
Serious improv chops.

Ethan Hawke Admits He Wishes He Had Dated Drew Barrymore After Revealing He Used To Hope He’d Run Into Her At Parties In The ’90s
Ethan Hawke: “I don’t think I can remember a time in my life when I was not aware of you.”
Drew Barrymore: “What me and every other girl on the planet wouldn’t have given to date you. Where the hell were you?”
Ethan Hawke: “There were many a night in the ’90s when I’d be going to a party and think, ‘Maybe Drew will be there.’”
Drew Barrymore: “Why didn’t you call me? We still had phones back then!”
Ethan Hawke: “I wanted it to happen organically. I thought something magical would happen.”
Drew Barrymore: “And look what happened: nothing!”
I remember this well. It was six weeks on from 9/11, and the world still seemed to be in a collective daze. The emotionally charged four song set from The Who completely stole the show. Never seen a live performance like it before or since.
25 years ago, The Concert for New York City was a show of unity and resolve, just weeks after 9/11.
Thousands of first responders and New Yorkers watched live performances from The Rolling Stones, Janet Jackson, Elton John, Paul McCartney and many more, in a landmark concert staged by Robin Hood.
Tonight, the mission to help New Yorkers recover continues, as a special airs on MTV, VH1, MTV2 and Logo at 7 p.m. ET.
Best post I've read today.
We often feel pressured to react immediately when things get intense.
Chief White Eagle’s advice:
“So long as mists envelop you, be still; be still until the sunlight pours through… then act with courage.”
When anger or fear clouds your view, don’t force a move. Pause. Let the fog clear first.
Stillness isn't giving up. It’s waiting for visibility.
