Yesterday was crazy, and I didn’t get to make the post I wanted to make. But I couldn’t let today go by without celebrating my dad.
So much of who I am was shaped by watching him live, sacrifice, serve, and love people.
Happy Birthday to one of the greatest I’ve ever known.
We live in a distracted generation.

There is a danger in being constantly connected, yet spiritually disconnected.
What has your attention?
Because whatever consistently has your attention, eventually begins to have your affection.
Look at the progression.
Question → Doubt → Distortion → Disobedience
The enemy questioned God’s Word.
-Eve doubted God’s Word.
-Then the Word was distorted.
-Then disobedience followed.
That’s why we must know the Word.
-Because the best defense against a lie is truth.
My friend left me this morning. But we’ll dance before the Lord again. Next time, it will be in Glory! @BrianRHogg

There are few gifts in life as precious as a Godly mother.
I thank the Lord for a mother who prayed, encouraged, and loved faithfully my entire life.
Thank you for being an example of grace, class, and unwavering love.
Happy Mother’s Day to the greatest. I love you, Mom!
I was so honored to be asked to participate in the Bartlett National Day of Prayer event yesterday. I love our city, and I believe in the power of prayer! We are thankful for the community that God has placed us in.
Here’s why I love being at midweek Church:
1. It Refuels My Spirit Midway Through the Week.

2. It Recenters My Focus.
3. It Connects Me With God’s People.
4. It Reminds Me That God Is Still Working.
It’s hard to put into words what today feels like.
It’s Ashton’s last day of high school, & I’m not ready for it.
I’m proud of the young man he’s become, and the road he’s taking. God has His hand on his life, and I believe the best is still ahead.

We live in a culture that is obsessed with fixing everyone else.
We can point out everybody else’s faults and problems
But Paul said “Take heed unto thyself”
If you wanna know where to start…start with YOU.
Nobody can pray for you enough to replace your own prayer life.
Diamonds are not formed in comfort.
-Diamonds are formed under pressure.
And some of the pressure in your life right now:
-It’s not the devil trying to destroy you.
-It’s God trying to develop you!
Stop fighting the process!
-Because the process is what makes the disciple.
The early church didn’t turn the 🌎 upside down because they had education.
They didn’t turn the 🌎 upside down with 💰.
They didn’t turn the 🌎 upside down because of influence.
The Bible said they turned the 🌎 upside down because they were filled with the Holy Ghost.
Faith built arks before it ever rained.
Faith stepped into seas before they ever parted.
Faith marched around walls before they ever fell.
The majority will probably always walk by sight.
-But God has always done His greatest work through the people who trust him.
Those who walk by sight will always outnumber those who walk by faith.
But history has proven:
-The people who walk by faith are the ones who accomplish the most for the Kingdom of God!
