🇻🇳 eyeing further restrictions on the domestic property market.
Compare the stated goals with those pursued in the upside-down world of many Western countries, where rising housing prices are celebrated by taxpayer-funded "economists", "experts" and politicians as a “sign of a strong economy” (???), and the contrast is especially stark.
Making housing accessible & affordable for broad sections of society is a real KPI of good governance and a system that works for the people.
If people can’t afford a home, many downstream societal ills do follow… from people putting off starting families to an overall “lack of stake” in the present & future well-being of society at large.
…because if the current system won’t even enable me to own shelter, why should I defend and uphold it?
Why wouldn’t I opt out of maintaining it - or move to "tear it all down"?
A functioning society will enable housing to become more affordable relative to incomes over time.
And its policies must be designed accordingly.
A sovereign nation must serve the interests of the people who live in it first and foremost.
"I want THAT car!"
The immediate reaction of a young & innocent pre-school boy - his mind unpolluted by mass media & education system by what he is supposed to like or dislike to signal his belief systems.

🇻🇳 entering global Top 10 in high speed data connectivity.
The improvement in terms of power production (a decade ago even in big cities you had ~a day a month with rolling brown-outs), infrastructure and general standards of living has been absolutely remarkable to witness - a blessed time to live through.
Not so bold prediction:
It will move up further ranks ahead of 2030.
And in terms of asymmetric bets:
If somebody had told you in 1996 that this is what the global top 10 ranking in such essential infrastructure for economic productivity would look like 30 years on - would you have taken that bet?
Which of these countries would/could you reasonably have predicted to be among the leading pack three decades later? South Korea 🇰🇷, maybe - but the rest?

Terminal stage - there's no "turning the ship around".
Abandon the sinking ship as long as you still are able to do so - and focus your resources & efforts on building a new one.
And guard tightly who you take on this journey with you.
You must be ruthless in cutting out actors who are looking to hijack and misdirect your energy for their own ulterior purposes.
Wasting your limited resources for their goals.
Refuse their framing; force your own -don't become a useful tool and stick to your own agenda.
If you don't operate by your own metrics and goals - you'll serve sb else's.
Every time Berlin is given political power over the German states, they can't help themselves but launch a World War.
The Prussian disease.
The time to decentralize is upon us!
Decentralization is the only political structure that actually disciplines government, and Switzerland's canton system proves it with 700 years of evidence.
Twenty-six cantons compete for residents and businesses. Appenzell Innerrhoden runs differently from Zurich, which runs differently from Geneva. When Basel raises taxes past the tolerance of its engineers and entrepreneurs, those people move to Zug, which has kept its corporate tax rate under 12%. Basel loses the revenue. The lesson writes itself.
Centralization is the villain. Every time a federal authority absorbs a decision that cantons once made, you lose the price signal. You lose the experiment. You lose the exit option. Brussels crushes this mechanism across the EU, which is why French farmers and German industrialists both scream at the same unresponsive bureaucracy with nowhere to go.
Competition between governments constrains Leviathan the way competition between businesses constrains monopoly pricing. Strip away that competition and governments do exactly what monopolists always do: extract maximum value from captive subjects while delivering minimum service.
The canton system works because it keeps power close to the people funding it and gives those people somewhere else to go.
Take power and responsibility out of the hands of bureaucrats thousands of kilometers away. Localize it to within manageable sections, and watch your area flourish.
Any city aspiring to be a financial centre & business hub needs to step up its game if airport security still makes you unpack your electronics.
It's 2026. The technology exists.
There's no good reason to keep this major pain point in air travel around.
Embrace the hardships in your life.
When standing beside you suddenly has a price - you know who deserves to be part of your inner circle.
You won't have these opportunities "when the sun is shining".
Free business alpha:
Don't treat your customers as your "monitoring system" to alert you of system downtimes.
For every customer that reaches out - there are 10 others who didn't even bother and just silently walked away & wrote you off.
“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity” is admittedly an extremely impressive narrative-control tool.
Targets a certain demographic perfectly: stop questioning & digging while feeling all smug and “educated” about it.
True masterpiece of psychological warfare - you've got to respect the skills that went into crafting it.
Must read article - lessons to be learned.
"It all sounds simple in hindsight, but I've recognized for a while now that this over-trust in influencers - and the resulting "echo chamber" of the Bitcoin community based on personal or financial relationships - is a major structural problem.
Especially over the last few years, I can't help but notice a significant deterioration in the overall quality of information and discourse regarding Bitcoin in the English-speaking world, majorly due to this skewed incentive and personal bias. And I believe the Coldcard incident exposed this issue in the worst possible way.
Finally, Bitcoiners' favorite motto "Do not trust, verify" is often used in the context of software development. But I believe this motto should also be applied to how we filter general information outside of software."
We might not "like" it, but that's the reality we got to face.
If you want to have the ability to build top-of-line products, you must have the revenue to invest in it.
"You need to expand, you need to go broad, you need to try to scoop up as big of a market share as possible, which is obviously something that Ledger and Trezor already understood, and is also something that Casa understood years ago.
You simply need to go as big as possible, which means you need to sacrifice the Bitcoin-only mantra in order to cater to that audience because you need to just make so much money that you can afford to reinvest into into security."
Apart from Bitcoin culture being dead, which is something that I've been tweeting about for many, many years now, there's a the real reckoning that is happening right now:
For any company to truly be able to have enough money to reinvest in security and research and development you need to cater to more than just Bitcoin only audiences.
You need to expand, you need to go broad, you need to try to scoop up as big of a market share as possible, which is obviously something that Ledger and Trezor already understood, and is also something that Casa understood years ago.
You simply need to go as big as possible, which means you need to sacrifice the Bitcoin-only mantra in order to cater to that audience because you need to just make so much money that you can afford to reinvest into into security.
Or, you need to start a company whose mission from the very beginning is to be multi-blockchain/multi-coin so that you can get enough funding so that you can invest in security early on.
The future that we all are looking at right now involves an extremely accelerating pace in terms of how fast vulnerabilities can be detected by anyone plugging into a frontier model and the companies who choose to stay fringe just because of a mantra or an ideology are asking to be hit first.
