Spot on. Other cities are moving on from failed 1960s transport policies. @cllrmikeross could have challenged the false negative perceptions of Hull with an ambitious transport policy showcasing Hull as a forward thinking environmentally leading city instead of the laggard.
This all goes against the prevailing wind of actions being taken in cities to improve air quality & reduce the carbon footprint of transport. The City has a carbon neutral strategy for 2030 which states that a key aim is to encourage modal shift
