Protein is such a buzzword currently. But just because it is on a label, it doesn't mean the food is healthy. A protein snickers is not healthy, period! We need balance. Don't forget fibre, carbs, and fats as well for overall health.

60% of the average UK persons diet is made of UPF's (Ultra Processed Foods) We are seeing cancer, and other health conditions increase yearly. Yet, people still say eating these foods is OK. Clearly, our health disagrees.

Why You Need An Omega 3 Supplement: • Supports gut microbiome • Reduces inflammation • Brain health • Disease prevention • Wild, oily fish can be expensive • Farmed fish have no omega 3 • Conversion from seeds like chia is only around 2%, not that great.

If you have IBS or gut issues, a long-term restrictive diet is only going to make things worse, not better! Instead, strip it back, and re-introduce foods slowly to train the gut, and give it a chance to heal. And if something upsets you, park it for now, and retry later.

A BIG IBS MISTAKE! Trying to constantly kill the bad guys in your gut, and not doing any restoring work to work on dealing with the root cause! Things like SIBO, LIBO, Dysbiosis, they're all symptoms, not a root cause!

If you have IBS, a low FODMAP diet won't heal you, and neither will relying on supplements. Yes, it supports symptoms, but do you want to live a life with a restricted diet and copious pills? A diverse diet is the bigger part here to heal your gut, once and for all.

Don't fear carbs! They support thyroid production. They support cortisol levels. They provide fibre for motility. They feed the gut microbiome. They provide energy for the brain, organs, and muscles. I recommend 150g a day, minimum!

December is a very sociable time of the year, to counteract it, do simple things: • Walk everywhere • Go for a walk or 2 at the weekend • Train hard, put the food to use • Spirits over wine and beer • Still eat healthy food • Relax, live, love, and laugh

Show up and give your best. That's the best you can do. You'll have good days, and bad days. But if you're consistent, you'll make great progress, trust the process.

You don't need a diet. You need to change your current diet. Make small habitual changes over time. Restrictive eating creates eating disorders, healthy diets build life long results.

Going to the gym for 3 hours a day for 1 week won't bring you results at the end of the week. People do this, get annoyed, then quit. Going to the gym for weeks, months, and years, consistently, brings results. It's about long term consistency, not short term intensity.

Toxins in the body are fat soluble, meaning they store in fat. When you're looking to lose fat, the worst thing to do is put more toxins into the body, there are now more toxins to remove. Food quality DOES MATTER!

2-3 workouts a week and preparing healthy food = Improved health Or Come home, watch TV and buy processed food/takeaways = Decreased health Your call.

Remember, out there, someone would love to be able to: Eat healthy food Have the ability to exercise Sleep 7+ hrs in a comfy bed Drink clean water daily Have a job to have the above Don't take any of these for granted!

Get home and cook your dinner, don't put the TV on! Make double for work the next day as well. Exercise 2-3 times a week, 45-60 minutes each session is fine. Want to get healthy? You need to prioritise what's important!

Veganuary and Dry January. For many come February 1st it just causes a big binge to happen. A better approach will be to moderate and make smart lifestyle changes to better your health. Do this instead, your body will love it!

The worst time to diet is January. Use January to nourish your body after December's festive food. This will prevent further stress from eating less food when you're looking to lose weight.
