As you’d expect, Jalen is in good spirits and motivated to get his body right again. He is going to be good. So, so scary and jarring to read.

Philadelphia 76ers coach Nick Nurse was at Carroll National Golf Club when everything changed.
It started with an incoming phone call from LeBron James and ended with a decision made two weeks later.
Nurse teed up a final act for James and a new beginning for the long-suffering 76ers. Can he deliver?

Lebron James siphoning the last bit of life force from the Eagles that is required to extend his youth. Hard watch but necessary.
Breaking: #Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is out for Sunday due to a superficial blood clot.
Full statement from the #Eagles on QB Jalen Hurts:
“On Thursday, October 8th, Jalen visited the training room after practice requesting treatment for his calf. He informed the medical staff he had been cleated during the Rams game on October 4th. This was his first treatment session for the calf injury following the game, after having practiced in full both Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, Jalen received treatment, practiced in full, and was added to the practice report.
“Out of an abundance of caution, an ultrasound was performed on Saturday following the team’s flight to London and walkthrough. The ultrasound revealed a superficial blood clot. Our medical staff and doctors in London reviewed the results and concluded that activity and mobility were important and that Jalen could safely play. Doctors recommended a follow-up ultrasound within 72 hours of the game and the return flight to Philadelphia.
“Jalen played without limitation in the game Sunday, received treatment on Monday and Tuesday, and practiced in full on Wednesday, as reflected in the practice report. Throughout our time in London and this week, we have remained in communication with the league office regarding the matter.
"On Wednesday night, a follow-up ultrasound revealed movement in the small blood clot. Jalen will be out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers as we determine the appropriate course of treatment. His health and safety are our highest priority.”

I don’t really care about the football aspect of this. It sucks seeing someone who gives it his all both on and off the field go through this at such a young age (relative to the real world’s age standard). There are few people on this planet that I have more respect for as a human being than Jalen Hurts, and I hope this plays out in the best way possible for him.

Coach Tomlin knows, if your team is having a players-only meeting your season is COOKED
NEW EPISODE OUT NOW !!!! @allstate
Quinyon already let us know before the season that he was coming locked in 🦅
Among the 49 defenders that have faced at least 23 targets in coverage, Eagles DB Quinyon Mitchell ranks 2nd in the NFL in passer rating allowed (58.2) behind only Byron Murphy (MIN).
Mitchell is also giving up just 1.5 yds after the catch per reception — best in football among the 80 players that have faced at least 20 tgts.
All-Pro type of stuff once again from 27.
