It’s not like Devils have been free scoring before the last 2 home games but 2 goals in 2 games against the better teams in the league shows where the problem lies.
What an absolutely terrible game of hockey. Barely a hit thrown after the first couple of minutes and 2 periods of dump and no chase from Devils. Steelers for all their pressure in the 2nd half of the game couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo. Devils are the Arsenal of hockey.
One thing you can never say about Thomson is that he doesn’t hold back and he’s spot on. More than enough chances to win the game and some need to step up the finishing. Devils do look light on scoring and if the main guys don’t do it there’s not much else.

OPTA: Since VAR began Manchester City and Arsenal have recieved more favourable decisions than anyone else.
• Man City: 87%
• Arsenal: 83%
• Manchester United: 14%
• Liverpool: 21%
@PGMOL_FA is bought. As proven yesterday. It needs scrapping….
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The stats attributed to OPTA are fabricated and unsupported by any official sources. Cumulative net VAR decision balances since 2019 show Newcastle +15, Man City +6, Man Utd +6, Liverpool +1 and Arsenal -10 (lowest among ever-present clubs).

Stella @BB33testimonial performance recused any otherwise average night for Devils. Guildford can count themselves unlucky.
I’m not sure why you would show this as evidence it wasn’t a penalty. Tarkowski clearly makes contact with Cunha before the ball and for those asking ‘was the touch enough for him to go down?’ Ask yourself why he would go down unnecessarily when he a tap into an open net!
.@Carra23 heard you were questioning why it wasn’t a penalty, here you go, via SKY Sports …..Tarkowski won the ball

If this is not the end of Farage, then British politics is dead.
If we ignore this, then all that lies ahead is Trump.
This is criminal. This is wrong. Farage must go.

This looks amazing and hopefully will ensure another strong and successful team in the EIHL for years to come. Does also come with a tinge of ‘what could have been’ for Cardiff Devils.
