Зустрівся в Києві з командою американської оборонної компанії Lockheed Martin, яка допомагає нам зберігати життя. Саме її системи Patriot і літаки F-16 відіграють важливу роль у захисті від російської балістики та реактивних «шахедів». І з обома напрямами зараз непросто. Обговорили, як можемо розширити та збільшити постачання. Зараз компанія нарощує виробництво перехоплювачів балістики. Розраховуємо, що частину з них зможемо закупити, щоб захистити більше життів. Також намагаємося зробити все, щоб обслуговування та ремонт F-16 відбувалися в Україні. Дякую за зустріч. Важливо, що Lockheed Martin присутня в Україні. Робимо зі свого боку все, щоб наше партнерство розширювалось.

I met in Kyiv with a team from the American defense company Lockheed Martin, which helps us save lives. Its Patriot systems and F-16 aircraft play an important role in defending against Russian ballistic missiles and jet-powered “shaheds.” And things are not easy with either right now. We discussed how we can expand and increase supplies. The company is currently ramping up production of ballistic missile interceptors. We count on the opportunity to purchase some of them to protect more lives. We are also trying to do everything possible to ensure that F-16 maintenance and repairs are carried out in Ukraine. Thank you for the meeting. It is important that Lockheed Martin has a presence in Ukraine. We are doing everything on our part to expand our partnership.

Цієї ночі у Воронезькому регіоні Сили оборони України завдали ударів по аеродрому. Знищені чотири літаки Су-34, два літаки Су-34 уражені. Росіяни використовували їх для терору проти наших людей. Саме ці літаки були готові до нових ударів по Україні та були споряджені авіабомбами. По цілі був використаний наш довгий Нептун. Дякую воїнам Військово-Морських Сил за влучність! Застосовувалися наші далекобійні санкції і по місцю зберігання та пуску ударних дронів в Орловському регіоні. У Чорному морі також уражено ціль. Наші справедливі відповіді на весь російський терор проти України. Росія затягує війну, отже, наші далекобійні операції будуть продовжуватися.

Last night, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck an airfield in the Voronezh region. Four Su-34 aircraft were destroyed and two more Su-34s were hit. The Russians used them to terrorize our people. These very warplanes were ready to launch new attacks on Ukraine and were loaded with aerial bombs. Our Long Neptune missile was used to strike the target. I thank the warriors of the Ukrainian Navy for their precision! Our long-range sanctions also reached a site in the Oryol region used to store and launch attack drones. A target was also hit in the Black Sea. These are our justified responses to all of Russia’s terror against Ukraine. Russia is dragging out the war, so our long-range operations will continue.

I am grateful for your support for Ukraine. Thank you. We’ve been through a lot together – during these years of full-scale war. None of us wanted this war, absolutely none of us. But it is us who have to deal with its brutality and all the instability it has caused. Unity in defense is always built by many standing together. Without a determined European Union capable of making strong decisions Putin would have gone much further by now. The European Union has not fallen apart. It has not backed down or given in to fear when it came to defending the European way of life. And that mattered just as much as the courage of Ukrainians. We believe this war will be over as soon as possible. But Putin plans to stick around much longer. He is building a Russia that looks like North Korea – where children are raised from an early age for war and to die for their leader. So Russia will not stop being dangerous. And it is our – Ukrainian – strength, our army, our technologies that help guarantee also European security, your security. These security guarantees are not yet reflected – we think – in your budget from 2028 onward. Let’s get serious about this.
