Ieri è stato un piacere e un onore partecipare alla cerimonia di @AIRC_it al Quirinale alla presenza del Presidente Mattarella. Vale @Vallantaina, Ylli @DoksaniLab ed io siamo anche riusciti a salutare @gianluigibuffon premiato per il suo impegno come ambasciatore AIRC!
📣 Si sono aperti questa mattina #IGiornidellaRicerca, la campagna che dal 1995 informa l’opinione pubblica sui progressi della ricerca oncologica per la prevenzione, diagnosi e cura del cancro, e coinvolge i cittadini alla donazione per sostenere il lavoro dei 6000 ricercatori e ricercatrici AIRC.
Il ricco palinsesto di appuntamenti dei Giorni della Ricerca è iniziato con la Cerimonia a Palazzo del Quirinale, alla presenza del Presidente della Repubblica Italiana Sergio Mattarella, e proseguirà fino a domenica 17 novembre, dando vita a una vera e propria staffetta della #ricerca.
Nel corso della cerimonia sono stati assegnati i Premi "Credere nella Ricerca" e il Premio scientifico biennale AIRC “Guido Venosta”.
Sono intervenuti il Ministro dell’Università e della Ricerca Anna Maria Bernini, il Ministro della Salute orazio schillaci, Andrea Sironi, Presidente AIRC, Anna Mondino, Direttrice scientifica AIRC, e Alessio Menga, ricercatore AIRC presso l'Università del Piemonte Orientale.
