Fantastic find and great thread! Tons of info on $SHx and @Payward, the parent company of @krakenfx. Adding @saldobank seems to be a key piece to connecting #StrongholdNET to Europe through the Payward/Stronghold partnership.
I would like to add one more thought to your thread.
🚨 Kraken (Payward) has just acquired Saldo Bank in Europe.🔥

But did you know? @strongholdpay ( $SHx ) had already taken the initiative to build its ecosystem foundation alongside @krakenfx well before this major banking acquisition took place! #SHxArmy
Saldo Bank currently serves customers in Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, and 𝑮𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚, and is licensed to work in the Netherlands.

I absolutely must acknowledge this thread as it shows why @stripe and @strongholdpay might become partners instead of competitors.
But there's massive news in this post as it gives a must read link showing @UpholdInc's OTC infrastructure has made $SHx accessible to institutions.

Plus, there’s big news this week: the institutionalization of $SHx on @UpholdInc Institutional (OTC access & custody).

This gives Stronghold access to institutional-grade OTC liquidity, making asset-to-fiat conversion much cheaper with minimal slippage.
It's time to research Progmat and Canton. My guess is @strongholdpay mentions them in this post because they are already tied in. It seems a perfect fit, and if connected, there would definitely be an NDA until full launch due to the sensitive nature of the deal.
Hello 🇯🇵!
#SHx
In short, Promat is a consortium of Japan's biggest banks and the Tokyo stock exchange. It's purpose is to tokenize Japanese securites and stablecoins. They are already partnered with @jpy_coin. This partnership is looking to facilitate cross-border stablecoin swaps.
Canton is a program backed by a global institutional consortium. I'ts described as a "network of networks" allowing financial institutions to use private applications and maintain compliance with privacy laws while providing atomic trx settlements. It is also tied to @jpy_coin.
Nice find!
IBM's Digital Asset Haven replaced World Wire. We know about World Wire's use of Stronghold USD and IBM's ongoing partnership with @strongholdpay.
Interestingly, this seems to be a competitor to the new 21 bank consortium looking to create their own USD stablecoin.
Coexistence can be seen as some of the 21 banks in the consortium are also early adopters of the IBM/SWIFT union. Both systems are targeting the same ideas, but from different vantage points. Kind of a current rails connected to blockchain vs. full public blockchain trx.
The big question is can #StrongholdNET be used in both. I think it can. The IBM/SWIFT union is a type of TradFi/DeFi bridge itself. I see Stronghold just below this level connecting smaller institutions to these networks. Customized APIs can make complex connections simple.
I've always believed @strongholdpay has kept the $SHx supply off the market because there would be a significant demand at the institutional level at some point. Your thread indicates a large institutional demand for #StrongholdNET could hit in November. Exciting times.
Cross border payments face a hard SWIFT's deadline by November for the ISO20022 compliance. Unstructured address data will be rejected, exposing deep legacy bank friction.

Lets see how bank unpreparedness, soaring compliance costs and data debt are driving shift toward API-native liquidity solutions like Stronghold $SHx! .... #SHxArmy 🧵👇
As I see this scenario, the $SHx would mostly be used only briefly as a carrier. So while ownership could be had, it may not be required. There COULd be a pool from which SHx is drawn and put back as necessary. This pool COULD be a wallet which is linked to escrow withdrawals.

@Dogegecko Best thread of X2027 right here!
Much gratitude for your breakdown.
Few questions:
Would these banks need to and/or voluntarily chose to hold their own supply of SHx?
Would this require stronghold to pursue additional federal licenses?
Can you add any specifics to the “stabilized value”?
As for additional federal licenses, I believe something similar to this scenario has been their goal for years. I think this is why they've focused on compliance first all along. I imagine all the licensing needs has been or is being taken care of.
As a reminder, I appreciate everyone's interest, but I could be somewhat or even completely wrong. I'm simply trying to put the puzzle pieces together like everyone else. It's fun for me.😀
But what I've said for years now remains true:
$SHx is different!
