It’s been brutal adjusting my sleep schedule for the past week, went from sleeping in until 10am or so to getting up at 5:30am, just so I can run when it’s cooler outside and not run through triple digits. Been tired almost every day.

It will start August 21st and we are aiming to complete it in a month but it depends if we do double-elim and on number of players, we will cap it at 16.

its been 19 months since my last pb in this game. This past year my mind has wandered and I haven't really been able to focus fully on mario, until recently. this run still feels surreal to me. 1:03:29 up, bled lots of time throughout upstairs but still managed a PB. more to come
Did some maintenance and cleaning on my oem for the first time in 3 years, replaced button pads, replaced nib on steel stick, replaced steel bowl. The stick now feels not as loose but a bit more janky feeling. Idk if it’s just cuz it’s a different feel from what I’m used to 🤔
Tonight was some of the best Mario I’ve played in a long time, I’m pretty confident that the pb is close now
My last sm64 pb was December 2024. During my time since then, I’ve been constantly going on and off Mario, never fully committing to the grind since. I think I’m finally realizing now if I want to see myself get farther in the game, I need to just lock in on the grind, it’s time.

My cat just came up so clutch, she found a big ass roach that I had lost track of trying to catch in my room earlier, and was able to successfully remove of the roach thanks to her 😼
