A joy to behold! Wonderful to see such healthy wildlife on the Dodder. It's been a few decades, but many's the trout that eluded me & my girls when members of Dodder Anglers. Reassuring tho' to see our clean-ups are still yielding dividends for the heron! Great pic Brian Tansey.

Biodiversity in Education is our next topic, presented by Codie Preston of @IrishSchSusty. They are helping to encourage teachers and students to make a connection with nature a part of the classroom, citing a lack of awareness of Ireland’s flora and fauna among both cohorts.

Before and after pictures of the Poddle at Fortfield Road. This gorgeous closed-off riverbank area was lush green, full of trees, saplings, wildflowers & foliage. But it's all just been removed and cleaned away. 💔 Any information @DCCParksBiodiv @DubCityCouncil @sdublincoco ???
