THE SPICE CLUB JUST TURNED 10! 🎂🎈. 10 years ago tonight, I invited 8 strangers into my home for some proper Indian home cooking. Mum helped in the kitchen, Dad helped set up & my brother was the "Maitre D" . Thank you to everyone who has graced our tables/kitchen 🙏💛

Just mixed a bag of Skittles into a bag of M&Ms and I strongly recommend it. It needs a good name though, because I don't think S&Ms is going to work.

My heart is so heavy today. I can’t get my head around everything that has happened and I am so, so sad for all those affected by the Stonehaven tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the north-east. Stay safe, stay strong ♥️

This makes me so sad. How can you treat the hospitality industry like this? Would you not show up to dinner at your friends? Would you not show up to get on a plane or go to the theatre? Why book somewhere when you’re just going to cancel - or worse, not turn up! Blows my mind 🤯
Replying to @juliabryce92
Over the last week we had 1010 covers cancel either three days before or same day or no show. We successfully supplemented this with walkins but it’s indicative of our throwaway culture.

For the past 6 weeks I've been working on this long read: an account of what happened to the food supply chain as the Covid-19 crisis hit. From food banks to supermarkets, from the hospitality industry to convenience stores. One spoiler: it may not be over. theguardian.com/food/2020/ju…

Looking to speak to Scottish pubs, hotels, restaurants & other food/drink venues hoping to reopen soon who are doing something different and using unique/innovative ways to do so. I’m talking igloo outdoor seating, quirky bar layout, the works! #journorequest #foodpr #scotland
