Follow the bread crumbs to a Tesla and SpaceX merger announcement. SpaceX announced on Friday, October 16, 2026, that it will release its Q3 2026 results after market close on Tuesday, October 20, which is the day prior to Tesla’s Q3 2026 earnings call. Tesla has NEVER been this far into year without having announced the year’s annual meeting date. Under Texas law, Tesla MUST have the meeting before December 6th. My guess would be that the meetings will touch on similar themes and how the two entities not only complement each other but provide synergy as well. Having the meetings back-to-back will help drive home the above points to clarify why a merger makes sense and why shareholders of both companies only stand to gain if they merge. Within 2-5 weeks after the Tesla earnings call, Tesla will announce the annual shareholder meeting (if not announced at Tesla’s earnings call) and the specifics on the offer will be presented at that meeting. Note: I may be suffering from confirmation bias as I believe the announcement of the merger will occur very soon so check my blind spots and tell me why I’m wrong please. Thanks. $TSLA $SPCX

Tesla Roadster reactions by low capacity folks is yet another example of choosing one’s moral outrage. I guarantee you that NOT a single one of these people ever complained about a Formula 1 car. Industry estimates for a current F1 car land between $15 - $20 million to build. FIA regulates a team’s 2026 spend at $250 million cost cap for up to twenty-four races. F1 = $15-$20 million and $250 million cap for the team to race. Tesla Roadster Rocket Trim = $500K And you folks are outraged about the Roadster?!

Chris Rock NAILS IT!
Chris Rock just nailed one of the biggest problems with wokeness. Helping people who feel marginalized is good. He says so himself. The trouble starts when a good cause becomes an institution. The first few witches were real. Then you open a witch office. Now there are salaries, budgets and pensions to justify, and the office needs a steady supply of witches to keep existing. That’s the trap. Once a cause becomes a career, solving the problem means losing your job. So the problem never gets solved. It just keeps getting redefined. A system built to find wrongdoing will keep finding it, whether it’s there or not.

Bots and paid actors. 95% of the negativity I have seen directed towards Tesla and Elon since the Roadster event have been unverified accounts on X. Midterms are coming up and Elon has thrown his full support behind Republicans. Not to be that conspiracy theory guy, but the attacks are likely coordinated and will get worst as we near November 3rd.
One of my bigger takeaways over the past 24 hours? The alarming number of people who are genuinely miserable, hate their lives, desperately need to point the finger at anyone but themselves and are determined to pull everyone down into their personal hell with them To all of you I'd like to say: Elon, Tesla and SpaceX have precisely NOTHING to do with you being an ignorant, cynical loser

The Tesla Roadster will be sentient and SI will be doing all the tricks automatically for the owner. Tesla will have a track (crazier than Hot Wheels) at Texas HQ so one can go and have fun with their shiny new sentient, rocket propelled, vehicle. What’s not to love about this?
Replying to @Scobleizer
True. You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient. Also, we will have a wild looping track (crazier even than Hot Wheels) at our Texas HQ where you can test out your Roadster.

The hypocrisy and ignorance is real. Watching people call Tesla Roadster enthusiasts “Nazis” or fascists but then in the same post rave or defend the new Porsche is highly entertaining. Porsche, specifically Ferdinand Porsche, during the Nazi era, had very close ties to Hitler’s regime through major projects, military work, and use of forced labor. And yet, because @elonmusk had a photo of him taken at the very moment he gave his heart out to the crowd, the useful idiots were made to believe that HE is the “Nazi” in this story. Fascinating.

So who do we think will get the invites to purchase the “Rocket” trim on the Tesla Roadster? Fighter pilots only and everyone else need not apply? 😂

Tesla released a video on YouTube of the Roadster going 0-60mph. It is a 1 second long video. 😂

I’m not gonna lie. It was at this moment that I thought there was a chance that Elon was about to announce a $TSLA and $SPCX merger. That “one more little/last thing”. Oh well. I still expect a merger announcement in the next month or so.

I wonder if people of the horse and buggy racing before cars came out said the same thing? 🤔 And I am not sure wha ‘tis meant by the forcing of Tesla into car culture. Definition of car below. I think Tesla meets the requirement.
Tesla unveiled an incredible feat of engineering, it's cool. But tesla fans still fail to understand what speaks to us as car people. We are not fans of the same things, we're uninterested and the discussion would be irrelevant if they'd stop tryna force tesla into car culture.

Add some propellers to some retractable wings and you have a flying car. How hard can this be Tesla? 😂
The new Tesla Roadster is alien technology. 🔥

The Tesla Roadster has 3 Modes - Road Mode - High-Downforce Mode - Low-Drag Mode. 🤯
Roadster transforms in Track Mode These aero features aren't just for looks: they provide the best passive downforce package of any road car (approaching F1 levels!) with wing actuation driven by the @Tesla_Optimus actuator system

The Tesla Roadster Event last night turned so many heads, even police departments are getting in on the fun. :)
That's not fair. How are we supposed to pull them over for speeding and then they whip out the Uno reverse?

Can we stop reposting Marques Brownlee and his comments about the Tesla Roadster. It has been pretty obvious for a while now that he suffers from some form of EDS. It’s a real syndrome and we should leave sick people alone.

I have a response now. Every time someone has shown me some article or talked about a new electric vehicle and how it will be the next “Tesla killer” (there is a graveyard full of these “Tesal killers”), I always ask one simple question. Does it drive itself? After Tesla’s Roadster Event last night, anytime someone talks to me about a supercar and how awesome it is, I will ask one simple question. But does it fly? 😊

People that are quick to dismiss the Tesla Roadster event last night, calling it simply a demo or publicity stunt, should understand the definition of the halo effect as below. This halo effect coincides with the exact time that Tesla FSD is driving sales meaningfully . Combine the two and I see demand for Tesla’s products becoming insatiable. $TSLA

Porsche fans have gotta be pretty angry right now. They unveil their new Porsche and that evening Tesla shows how the Roadster can literally fly. 🤣

I know Waymo has more vehicles on the road currently but here is Waymo compared to Tesla Robotaxi accident rate.
New NHTSA Incident Report for Robotaxis just dropped. Here's what's new and notable since the last report 📝 All 9 incidents were property damage only. No injuries, no tows, no airbags. Every at-fault contact happened at 5 mph or under 💥 Robotaxis continue to have issues with chains ⛓️ First Cybercab incident to ever appear in NHTSA data 🚕 🟢 = Other driver's fault 🟡 = Robotaxi at fault, minor contact 🔴 = Robotaxi at fault, serious 📍Dallas, TX - 5 incidents (all Model Y, all driverless) 🟡 Left turn into a parking lot, hit a low-hanging chain at 3 mph (16671) 🟢 A pickup ran a stop sign and struck its left side as it braked from 27 to 3 mph (16673) 🟡 Left turn into an alley, clipped a guardrail at 0.25 mph (16675) 🟡 Left turn in an alley, hit a utility meter at 0.45 mph (16677) 🟡 Remote operator took control between a concrete mixer and a parked SUV and touched the SUV at 0.40 mph (16678) 📍Austin, TX - 3 incidents 🟡 Cybercab drove into a water-filled pothole in a parking lot at 5 mph, safety monitor aboard (16672) 🟢 Model Y rear-ended by an SUV while stopped at a yield sign, three passengers aboard (16676) 🟡 Model Y, remote operator driving through an alley, hit a dumpster at 1 mph (16679) 📍Tampa, FL - 1 incident 🟡 Model Y, right turn out of a lot exit into a chain with an octagonal sign hanging from it, 4 mph (16674). First Florida entry in the dataset. No serious at-fault incidents for Robotaxi. Nothing here was the software stack doing something that put a passenger at risk - it's parking lots, alleys, and low obstacles it didn't see, all at walking speed ✍️ ✏️ driverless = no safety monitor noted in Tesla's narrative
