All of time and space; everywhere and anywhere; every star that ever was. Where do you want to start?

...'Ah. Excellent question.

"I, think I took a wrong turn at the planet Albuquerque. But I'm not going to stand by while people are in trouble." "That ought to buy us some time!" "Precious seconds in which to RUN, NOW--"
1
The Doctor took a few seconds to make it through the tangles of that sentence-- "If you're up, pull it up, if you're down, push it up. If you're UP-up then push it down otherwise pull it." "Does that make sense?" These are precious seconds where she's not pulling the lever.
Replying to @AzathothsVessel
“Pull it down?” “Down when I’m down? Or up when I’m down? What if I’m up? Is it down when I’m up or up when I’m up?”

He appreciates her patience. ...on the other hand, everything was slowly rotating? Like he was caught in a giant washing machine. But the gravity remained the same, even as the floor became the ceiling. "Now I want chips." It was talking about potatoes?
"Why do we even have that lever?!" Well, the zero-g is useful when he wants to relax and read while floating. Adding more gravity, though? When has he ever needed more gravity? "You can pull the lever when we land. But pull it 𝘶𝘱."
“I wanna pull the LEVER!”
"Two hearts, actually! Backup cardiovascular system. Means I'm very good at cardio." Mostly running. Dulcinea, from what he'd gathered...probably had to have a lot of body awareness, in the same way that soldiers had to learn where the landmines were buried.
"That's a dreadfully dangerous lack of basic body awareness." "I know you're not {that kind} of Doctor. And you have larger things to worry about. And you have multiple hearts." "But that doesn't mean you should be so careless with the ones you have."
1
"But, you're right, actually. I mean, this body's carried me through a few hundred years? But the last one only lasted about twelve." The Doctor shrugged. "It's a lottery." Was there something he'd forgotten to explain here? ...OH!
1
"Also, being an alien, when I die I can change my body and my face, basically a biological reboot. Regeneration." "Did I tell you that? If I didn't, that's important!"
"Sounds about right! I think if I get ill my body will let me know." "You know, properly."

"Self-replicating strawberry jam! Who came up with that?!" Fiftieth-century scientists with more experimental chemicals than sense. "Anyway, it spat everyone out, I think I put the Shard back the way it was. But I think I smell like strawberries now." Could be worse.

"And I brought a jar back! You want some toast, @HighKeySylvie?"
The TARDIS actually has a little noise it makes when things are going from bad to screwed? And the Doctor can hear it, chiming. Right now. Plus she's appeared in a TARDIS in mid-flight which should be impossible?! youtube.com/watch?v=MmHgOLKv…
“You were in my dream, @Doctor_InTARDIS, as a little Pomeranian dog and you drowned. I’m very sorry about that because you were a four-times Crufts winner.” The fact that she has just appeared inside a moving TARDIS to let him know this little factoid is a sure sign of DOOM.
1
So she's a reality warper, and the best thing to do is smile and reply before he can try to deal with her, if need be. "I was a dog? A Pomeranian dog?" "Well, takes all kinds to make a multiverse. I had a dog once! A robot dog!" "Although it wasn't as cool as it sounded."
1
1
"I wasn't expecting to be a Pomeranian, but I guess dreams don't lie." Tilting his head, the Doctor considered things. "What kind of dog would you be, do you think?" Should probably have asked her name first. But the dog question was more interesting.

"Basically? It's like speed tapas." The Doctor had once visited the High Kitchens of Colosseo Oro, those gleaming monuments to epicurean pleasure, and then he'd been locked in them for a month with giant flesh-eating locusts outside. The key to surviving?
“So long as that involves eating bites of lots of different things until we feel full.” It was a whole mood. Hungry but not for a meal. Or maybe her mouth was lonely?

But, in the middle of the action, and in the middle of bringing over nachos with added salsa, melted cheese, and weightlessness... He paused, took Sylvie's face in his hands, and kissed it. Because, well, she did look lonely. Faces were sometimes hard to read.

But hers was getting easier.

"Lemon juice?" He'd never tried that on a sandwich. Never tried capers, at all. Apart from the 'wacky and zany' kind. Still, he hopped to his feet, pointing up with both hands. "Worth a shot!" Everything was, at least once! "Let's do some kitchen experiments!"
“What about- a fish finger sandwich?” Was she hungry for junk food? Yes. Yes she was. “Topped with capers and soggy with lemon juice.”
"Bowties ARE cool!" "I don't make the rules."
1
2
"Oh, definitely! Otherwise it'd be weird." "You could probably heat up the custard? But cold plus cold is bad." "That was my first attempt--"
“I’ve ate worse. But the big question is; is the fish finger hot and the custard cold?”
