So MANY Doctor Who fans, so FEW aware that the ABSOLUTE BEST #DoctorWho stories are found in the #DoctorWhoTheNewAdventures novels.

It took 3 months and a small fortune to collect all 62 #DoctorWhoTheNewAdventures novels (including Lungbarrow).
I’m ridiculously proud of my stash (though it pales in comparison to some of the amazingly elaborate #DoctorWho shelves and collections I’ve seen lately).

On #WorldBookDay let’s take a moment to acknowledge the series that produced the GREATEST #DoctorWHO stories ever put to print:
The #DoctorWHOTheNewAdventures novels.

How much do you love Doctor WHO?
Giant Brazilian Jesus: This much.

I LOVE the #Daredevil series. Love the actor that plays Daredevil.
Very little about this show I don’t adore, BUT …. the beard. The beard irks me. It doesn’t make sense for a man wearing a mask to hide his identity to have a beard showing. #MCU #DaredevilBornAgain

Name 3 episodes from any - or varying - series you could watch on repeat, forever.
Mine:
1. #DoctorWHO Time Of Angels/Flesh and Stone
2. #StarTrekVoyager Scorpion
3. #Firefly Ariel/War Stories

Most WHO fans must be like “Why does this guy keep going on-and-on about novels from the 90s?” - but you have to understand, #DoctorWHONewAdventures were the Golden Age of creativity for #DoctorWHO novels.
The DEFINITIVE Batman Trilogy:
- Batman
- Batman Returns
- The Flash

It would be nice to get a new #StarTrek show with a new ship and new crew - that didn’t rely on legacy characters or ships.
That’s the nice thing about Voyager - they started from scratch. #StarTrekVoyager

Clara: I KNOW what you’re doing - you’re trying to take control.
Clara knows The Doctor’s tactics.
This scene is really a MASTER class in script writing. Moffat understands theses characters and is communicating so much under the surface. This is just BRILLIANT. #DoctorWho

Clara : Do I have your attention?
This seven keys scene is one of the most dramatic, amazingly well written scenes in all of #DoctorWHO. Maybe in all of sci-fi. It’s a piece of art all on its own.
I’m not entertaining disputes on this point. Thank you.
The golden age of #DoctorWHO

Are MOST Doctor WHO fans
Star Trek fans?
I love both, but wonder if there are some fans who love one franchise but are indifferent about the other. #doctorwho #StarTrek
My thoughts after ‘Empire Of Death’: RTD is a GREAT showrunner for #DoctorWHO, but less than mediocre writer of sci-fi. He should leave the writing to others …
How did Ruby cause snow every episode if she’s a normal human woman born of normal human parents? #DoctorWHO
I still dream of a day where we get #DoctorWHO on screen with the complexity and gravitas of a #DoctorWHOTheNewAdventures novel.
