#ImposterSyndrome was also well summarized by @NnekaUfereMD several months ago “True imposter syndrome is when your environment is so unwelcoming, that you have to dampen your light, becoming an imposter to yourself”
One key takeaway here aside from centering Black voices often marginalized is that it challenges our traditional understanding of ‘#impostersyndrome’. Instead, it unearths how some are systematically made to feel inferior & incompetent & how this is then inevitably internalized.
