Frittata is Italian come from the word "to fry" here's a couple I made

From yesterday's Times

@BrookesTimes sums it up perfectly

Each summer for the last few years we have had a visit from some Egyptian Geese on our local lake.This year for the first time a pair bred and here we have 7 Egyptian Goslings in a huddle this morning

Spot on from @BrookesTimes

Green Woodpeckers in my garden this morning a juvenile on the left and and ( I think) an adult female which was feeding it. Makes a change from politics and football.

I can only Agree

Despite what is going on in the world I still get a kick out of digging my first home grown new potatoes. Boiled with a sprig of home grown mint and and bathed in some good butter they are a gastronomic treat

Whatever else is happening in the world nature continues with the birds on my local lake . There are already several pairs of geese with goslings including this greylag with 5.

@CarlBovisNature From my morning walk near my house Red Kite in a tree .I think you mentioned you'd only seen one in flight
