@CharlesSBarber endnote, mendeley, zotero etc.are all worth trying - including our tool docear.org :-) there is not THE best one

@MiamiUBo @miamiulibraries have you tried docear as reference manager? :-) docear.org/2014/01/15/compre…

@xymarla have you tried Docear? docear.org/2014/01/15/compre…

@MarionR2 if you don't like docear and mendeley, maybe zotero is what you are looking for? docear.org/2014/01/15/compre…

@alifeexotic maybe this comparison helps to decide? :-) docear.org/2014/01/15/compre…

@CYvdB @CYvdB we also did a more serious and thorough comparision, though it's not independent ;-) docear.org/2014/01/15/compre…

@CYvdB @GGranath Mendeley's comparison chart is maybe not the most objective one to make a decision ;-) docear.org/2013/08/27/off-to…

@acaibialem would love to hear what you don't like about docear: [email protected]. Alternatives: alternativeto.net/software/d… (I would use Zotero)

@lj_laurajones maybe our review helps deciding whether to use mendeley or zotero? (or docear :-) ) docear.org/2014/01/15/compre…

@eusdot Falls JabRef grundsätzlich interessant war würde ich unser Tool docear.org empfehlen. Basiert auf JabRef, kann aber mehr

Our website docear.org wasn't available the last ~8 hours. Sorry for any inconveniences. The website runs now again!

@lauracshum just in case you have specific question on how to use #docear, feel free to ask any questions you like in our forum.

@Andresinmp btw. in general we prefer giving support via our forums. this allows more detailed answers :-) docear.org/support/forums/do…

@Andresinmp currently there are no plans to package #docear with debian etc. what do you mean by finding references within a pdf?
