Credit where credit is due @British_Airways new aircraft with deeper lockers allowing wheely bags to fit in on their side means more will fit in. Great move. And bigger lavatories. At last some good news!

Is there a planning department @GlasgowCC responsible for road works. Utter chaos throughout the City. Piles of paving stones blocking University Avenue at Byres Road for months with no work going on. Crow Road just closed with no warning and complete chaos today with equipment blocking Hyndland Road with workmen trying to keep traffic flowing. Beith Street left closed yesterday with absolutely nothing there. And the town centre a total mess. I used to compare Glasgow to Liverpool but Liverpool is now a vibrant city embracing all forms of transport and catering for everyone. @GlasgowCC you have lost your way and are massively in debt. Why?

What a fantastic weekend @SnettertonMSV @BTCC Massive appreciation to @BARC_Marshal @BMMCUK for working in tropical conditions, and all the competitors. It’s not pleasant in a closed car without cooling. I hope everyone got home safely and avoided too much sun. Very privileged to have the benefit of @PorscheRaces_GB vehicles and air con. Thank you.

I know this is an odd request but my niece works for the BBC and is writing an article about the new licensing system for monkeys in England. Anyone out there?

Just back from the @MullRally1 which I first went to 35y ago as a young doctor (with my wife who was an even younger surgeon), for the first closed road event in the UK in 1990. Much warmer than I remember it, and so well organised. Pleasure to go back with @MartinHunt66 and meet all the doctors paramedics and rescue crews who made us so welcome and learn how we can improve things. Special thanks to @SueSanders001 for the itinerary and Graeme Brown the mastermind behind the medical set up, which the event should be very proud of. Thank you @ourmotorsportuk and @JonBolton for organising this and #Matthew one of the @WeAreSMMC rescue crews who for driving us round and through the stages. Final mention has to go to #Amy who is from Mull but works for @ourmotorsportuk safety department whose knowledge of the island and rallying was so useful; and her mum who supplied the cakes

Well that was @BTCC to be proud of @krcircuit . Rarely do you see so many happy smiling people including spectators, @ourmotorsportuk officials, @WeAreSMMC @BARCMarshals , medics @TOCA_Safety and competitors. And it’s even rarer to get such amazing weather. The traffic from what looked like a huge crowd was well managed with a happy team doing a brilliant job. Take a bow @mrsflash52 and all the team.

Just home after a classic BGP with the full range of the British Summer! Proud to see all the doctors, nurses, paramedics, medical staff, rescue crews, marshals and officials from across UK motorsport working together; even most of @TOCA_Safety were there. It’s a much bigger @F1 event than when I first went in 1985 but the @rafredarrows are still as impressive. Well done @ourmotorsportuk and @SilverstoneUK

Proud of TOCA Safety Team at the extrication training and assessment @PaulCircuit organised by @FFSportAuto and @fia at the weekend. Trainers from France, Le Mans. Spain, UK and Monaco and several Medical Delegates from @FFSportAuto @FIAFormulaE @OfficialWRC @F1 and @fia. Thanks to @ourmotorsportuk @OfficialBARCHQ And a big thank you for our driver @LydiaWalmsley82 who has now been rescued 25 times!
