Fabulous performance of The Comedy of Errors by @HandleBards at Felton Park this evening. Pure anarchic joy. Thank you 🙏

Replying to @OVOEnergy
@OVOEnergy not impressed with your “complete” boiler maintenance package. My 80 year old mother-in-law with Alzheimer’s has now been 24 hours without heat. No sign of an engineer. No ETA. But you billed her for the call-out fee as soon as the call went in. Not great, is it?

Privileged to meet the great Roger Neighbour this week. One of my fav quotes of his: “whatever other virtues they may have as academic touchstones, curriculum and assessment are also the twin gonads of conservatism”

What do you think: could video consultations be a game-changer in clinical education? (Our BJGP editorial says yes but we’d love to hear your views either way!) @GPEG_Cambridge @PCU_Cambridge @trishgreenhalgh @jamckimm @ClinEduRes_ucam @sapcacuk @DocThomson

Up to date map from The Rivers Trust shows more sewage dumps in River Tyne than almost any other river. ⁦@NorthumbrianH2O⁩ should be ashamed. It is destructive, deplorable and a damning indictment of their lack of care & respect for our environment and beautiful River Tyne.

Can #MedEd community help? I’m setting up a gastro teaching clinic for multi-level learners (SpR to med student). Anyone tried it? Tips, templates, SOPs to share?

Looking forward to out next Clinical Teachers Forum. Scholarship is for life, not just your Masters! How do we nurture this? bit.ly/3aW3qm2
One of those programmes that flip you out of Autopilot mode. Parental “inheritance tracks”, discovering your purpose, and the power of teaching in prison. I’m not at all musical but I loved this.

Not sure what’s more extraordinary @UN General Assembly: the stream of delusional diarrhoea coming from the Russian delegate, or the translator’s skill in turning it to English
