The job of a coach.
“My job is to always be opposite at the moment.”
Calm when chaos comes.
Confident when doubt creeps in.
Demanding when standards slip.
Encouraging when confidence drops.
Patient when frustration grows.
Give your team what the moment needs.

Sean McVay nailed leadership in one word:
Elevator.
Lift people up. Help them reach their potential. Make them better because you were part of their journey.
That’s leadership. 🔥

The way Kenny Rogers’ whole face lights up the moment he hears Dolly Parton’s voice coming from offstage.
I have always loved this performance so much.

Just watch and listen. The great Don francisco wrote it but oh my goodness. We played this every Easter for over 20 years but nobody ever did it better than Dolly.

Following Jesus isn't about identifying as a Christian. It's about giving Him your entire heart.
Think about a bride walking down the aisle. She's not declaring that she'll be a perfect wife. She's declaring that she has chosen one person above all others and has given herself to that covenant.
That's the picture Scripture gives us of our relationship with Christ. Wholehearted devotion doesn't mean we'll never stumble or make mistakes. It means our hearts belong completely to Him.
The King is coming for His Bride. The question is, are we living as those who have given ourselves completely to Him?
I unpack what it means to live ready for His return in The King Is Coming. Find it here: a.co/d/0g2gsrAL

The Apostle Paul was SAVAGE. He's my #1 (human) hero &, in my opinion, the most fearless man to have ever lived.
I pray God will give me whatever he gave Paul.
In his sermon today, @howertonjosh put it into words better than I ever could: "Heads I win, tails you lose, suckers"

The book of Revelation is structured as a chiasm.
In a chiasm, themes mirror each other from beginning to end, moving toward a central turning point.
Revelation’s center is striking:
Revelation 12 — the defeat of the dragon by the Lamb.
Christ is victorious.

Listen, if this video doesn't make your eyes sweat, you don't have a pulse. This is the perfect illustration for why all of us need to have a "spiritual father" in our lives.
