My cousin was t-boned in a horrific car accident. His body is crushed and he’s in critical condition. He’s a loving husband and father to 4. They’ve been able to save him so far but things are very sketchy.

I have had a rough year that only just started turning around in the past month or so.
There were days when my body was so weak and o was so tired I could hardly get out of bed.
But I never lost my faith - if anything, I grew closer to God.
I was weak, but He was and still is my strength.

Gas prices are dropping which means the gas companies purposely increased the prices so you would blame Trump and vote blue. It had nothing to do with the Iran war.

I WISH someone had explained this to me when I was younger Christian.
Every commandment in the Bible and everything it calls a *sin* is actually a *warning* from God not to hurt yourself.
In other words, as it has been said before… When God says DON’T, what He's really saying is: DON’T hurt yourself.
Let me give you several examples.
Sex before marriage - It is a scientific fact that sex creates a neurochemical bond with another person, not just physically but emotionally.
In other words, sex is not just the union of two bodies, but of two souls. So when God says DON’T, he’s saying: you don’t want to be bonded like that to somebody you barely know.
Lying - When you lie, you eventually destroy the trust other people have in you. And the problem with lying is that one lie often requires another to cover it up, until eventually, you've built an entire life around pretending to be someone you're not.
Envy - Envy is resenting God’s goodness in someone else’s life while ignoring God’s goodness in your life. Instead of living a life of gratitude and joy, you live one of bitterness and anger.
Pride - Pride makes a person care more about BEING right… than making a relationship RIGHT. And you become incapable of learning, apologizing, or growing.
Gossip - Gossip destroys relationships… and if someone is gossiping TO YOU about other people, chances are they're also gossiping ABOUT YOU to other people behind your back.
Unforgiveness - This one is tough because you’re already hurt with something. But when you refuse to forgive, unforgiveness makes YOU a prisoner of your past, and a slave to bitterness, resentment, and pain. God says “don’t.”
Greed - Greed makes you believe a lie that if you only had “more” then you’d be happy. Not true. You’ll be miserable.
Lust - We live a culture saturated with lust. It always destroys your ability to experience true intimacy with another person. This is why our culture is terrible at marriage, intimacy, and relationships.
Here’s the point.
Deuteronomy 10:12 (NIV) says “Observe the LORD's commands and decrees that I am giving you today … for your own good."
When God forbids something, it’s not because he hates you and he’s trying to rob something from you.
It’s because he loves you and he’s trying to protect you.
When He says DON’T, He's not trying to keep you from enjoying life.
He's teaching you how to truly live it.

Guys @sola_chad and his family could reallly use our help. This is already a struggle. Any amount will help. Between hospital visits (one of the boys is in the hospital and will be for a while) from gas for the long drive to food this stretched them already. Please pray and give if you can, church 🙏🏼
Hello guys. Forrest and I felt led to start a give send go for @sola_chad and his wife. The have suddenly taken in 2 boys for the foreseeable future and as foster parents ourselves we know how hard this is BUT they are not in the foster system so they will recieve NO compensation for this at all. We know how hard it was to even stay above water WITH the stipend amount. I can’t imagine this happening with no warning and no stipend. One of the little boys is in the hospital and this is going to be a hard road God has chosen so helping ease the financial burden would be awesome if you feel led. Prayers first and foremost but if you are able to donate that would surely help them!

Yes, a program where kids sit with puppies and read books is now being reviewed because of Islam.
It started at Ocean Avenue Elementary.
Students were offered the chance to step into a play pen and read alongside foster dogs.
The thought was simple: the kids get to snuggle dogs and the foster dogs... but then came a Portland school committee meeting.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. "Abdullahi Ahmed" raised how dogs are viewed in the Islamic faith.
His words: “The dog saliva is considered impure.”
Now the board is writing new policy language built around RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL considerations that could keep dogs out of the classroom all together.
This is insane.

Oh look - a swing district in a blue state is reporting every ballot scanner is down on a day when Republicans outnumber Dems 2 to 1.
It’s the Maricopa Method of stealing.
Katie Hobbs created it and now other Democrats are using it.
There is a problem with every ballot scanner in Westchester County. We do not yet know the exact cause of the issue, whether it is the ballot or the machine. The Board of Elections is working with their vendors to resolve it.
However, every ballot will be counted. Stay on line and vote. Do not leave the polling place without voting.
