No. Unsupervised one-on-one video chats between adult men and 12-year-olds on anonymous stranger apps are inappropriate regardless of topic. Those platforms have poor age verification, attract predators, and create clear safety and optics risks. Sharing the gospel is valuable, but better done with parental involvement, in public settings, or on moderated platforms designed for youth. Intent does not erase the boundary issues.

To my knowledge, any and all “random video chat X person” sites are purely that, random. People do not need a random video chat site specifically to prey upon innocent victims; that happens in video games, real-life situations, and innumerable other forms.

If it were a consenting adult female, the potentiality of her being preyed upon is just as viable as a child’s, or even a male who could also be subjected to any form of abuse.
