Instead of publishing the Reg SHO list of victims (giving short sellers a list of potential targets and alerting them to which FTDs need to be better hidden!), here's a process that seems to be getting results!
Korea's automated monitoring includes a system implemented last year that "compares institutional investors’ submitted balance data and over-the-counter transaction information with the Korea Exchange’s order records to identify potential naked short-selling."

The method of guessing the equation seems to be a pretty effective way of guessing new laws. This shows again that mathematics is a deep way of expressing nature, and any attempt to express nature in philosophical principles, or in seat-of-the-pants mechanical feelings, is not an efficient way.

Short sellers... betting against American workers, businesses and the retirement savings of ordinary people just to line their own pockets.
If they deliberately manipulate markets to bankrupt good companies, PRISON TIME...NOT BAILOUTS is what they should be getting.

24-hour trading is a terrible idea. Retail investors could be unknowingly burdened with worse prices, the SEC's lack of 24/7 oversight means disruptions could occur when regulators aren't available, and continuous trading could encourage risky, gambling-like behavior.

HSBC open to a deal with Citadel or Jane Street - Bloomberg
"Europe’s largest lender has held preliminary discussions about directing parts of its fixed income trading order flow to an outside market maker, according to people familiar with the matters....
...HSBC is said to be open to a deal with firms including Citadel Securities and Jane Street Group....
...The bank’s willingness to consider such a deal shows that even systemically important banks with huge Wall Street operations—the lender operates one of the world’s largest debt capital markets teams—are struggling to make the necessary technology investments to properly compete in trading..."
