Strengthening Digital Land Governance: Review of DILRMP and NAKSHA in Uttar Pradesh A step towards translating digital land governance initiatives into effective, on-ground implementation! A team from the Department of Land Resources (DoLR), comprising Shri P. Narahari, Joint Secretary (LR), and Shri Amit Kumar Singh, Director (LR), held discussions with senior officers and representatives of the Board of Revenue, Uttar Pradesh, to review the progress of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) and NAKSHA. The team also visited Tehsil Offices, the Modern Record Room, and a Sub-Registrar Office (SRO) in Lucknow to gain first-hand insights into existing systems, operational processes, and implementation challenges at the field level. Bharat Land Stack Begins Its Journey in Uttar Pradesh! A significant step towards building an integrated, GIS-based land information ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh! A team from the Department of Land Resources (DoLR), comprising Shri S. Chockalingam, Chairman, Land Stack Technical Committee; Shri P. Narahari, Joint Secretary (LR); and Shri Amit Kumar Singh, Director (LR), held discussions with senior officers and representatives from the Revenue, Registration, Town Planning, Industrial Development, and other key stakeholder departments of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, along with the NIC Uttar Pradesh technical team. The discussions focused on assessing existing departmental systems, identifying relevant datasets and integration requirements, and charting a roadmap for the State Land Stack Portal.
