DJs have to be happy and personable no matter what. A war or someone died, we always have to put a smile on and play music for others to escape life.

honestly. the last ppl Iβm worried about with the work I put out for my career is djs π€·π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈ djs trying to impress djs is the most crabs in a bucket mentality. if a dj likes what Im doing, because they see how I rock the crowd & operate, nice. but im never shooting for that. corny β at Miami, FL

New DJs, you def should be thinking about attending SXSW. When I was really trying to network and meet DJs to get myself known. SXSW was always helpful and Iβve met many DJs who are good homies til this day and DJs who have helped me a lot! Itβs a great way to network!

If No One Is Helping You, Create Your Own Opportunities! Since day 1, I was not the type to wait on someone to get into the scene. I kicked off own party, put together a promo team, got flyers and promo content lined up, with ZERO experience, just knew where I wanted to be.

Not every DJ gig is the best in the world, not every DJ gig will be a packed out crowd ready to dance. Itβs not a big deal if the place isnβt the greatest. My advice is you need to own it when your on the set at any gig cause you never know who is there listening to you spin
