Israel's Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, is a literal demon.

After 27 years registered as a Republican (since 1998), voting in every single election without missing one, I officially switched my voter designation to Independent yesterday. I’ve never been a straight-party voter and I’ve never fully believed in the two-party system. I kept the Republican label all these years just so I could participate in primaries. But I’m done. I’m exhausted by always having to choose the “lesser of two evils.” I’d rather have no evil at all — and I refuse to give sycophantic devotion to any party over principle. Our first President, George Washington, warned us about this very danger in his Farewell Address in 1796: “However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” He continued: “Let me now... warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally... The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension... is itself a frightful despotism.” Washington saw this coming. When loyalty to party becomes more important than loyalty to country and conscience, we all lose.

Everyone knows the Wachowskis wove in Christian imagery (Neo as a messiah figure, Trinity, Zion, the resurrection themes) even though the creators themselves aren’t Christian. That makes the name of the protagonists’ ship, the Nebuchadnezzar, especially fascinating. In the Bible, Nebuchadnezzar was a pagan Babylonian king, not a believer. Yet God sovereignly used him as an instrument of judgment: he invaded Jerusalem, destroyed the Temple, and carried Israel into exile because of their disobedience. He was a powerful ruler operating under his own gods (Marduk chief among them), but still fulfilling a larger divine purpose he didn’t fully understand. Hollyweird often operates through darker forces. But as we know, God uses all things for our good. In the film, the Nebuchadnezzar carries the fight to awaken people from illusion and slavery. It flips the script: the same name that once represented captivity and destruction now becomes a vessel of liberation and truth-seeking. The Matrix has always had this effect: it makes people question the official narratives and “reality” they’ve been fed. If @RepThomasMassie doesn't win his primary, America is a myth. I know that's a big statement, but I stand by it. What would the Constitution look like if it were a person? Thomas Massie. Not because he's perfect - but because he votes his conscience, every single time, regardless of who's watching, who's angry, or who's writing the check. He voted against the "Big Beautiful Bill" over debt concerns. He pushed for the Epstein files. He has never once sold his vote to stay comfortable. That's not a politician. That's a public servant. Paul Singer put in $1 million. John Paulson put in $250,000. Miriam Adelson's Preserve America PAC (@Preserve_PAC) contributed $750,000. None of them live in Kentucky. None of them live in his district. This isn't even the first time. In 2024, AIPAC's (@AIPAC) United Democracy Project (@UnitedDemocProj) spent heavily to defeat Massie after he opposed military aid to Israel. He won with 75.9% anyway. So they came back with more money and a Trump endorsement attached. As @TuckerCarlson put it: "I don't think there are many people in the country who live out Donald Trump's own stated principles more precisely than Thomas Massie does." And as @FmrRepMTG warned: "If billionaire donors that literally put another country, another foreign country, before our own, are able to buy a congressional seat, then the American people completely lose representation." The May 19 primary is close. Current polling puts Massie at 46.8% and Gallrein at 37.7%, with 14% undecided. Those undecided voters are being targeted right now with millions in outside ad spending. @EdGallrein would like you to know he's a Navy SEAL, a farmer, and fully prepared to do whatever @realDonaldTrump tells him to do in Congress - which is sort of the whole point. I respect Navy SEALs but I also take them as individuals. Dan Crenshaw was a Navy SEAL. Ask his constituents how that worked out. The uniform is a credential, not a character reference. Gallrein skipped the debate with Massie and lost his last race. But don't worry - three billionaires who have never set foot in Kentucky think he's exactly the right guy to represent you. So there's that. The final ads of this race will be bought in the next few days - and Massie needs the resources to answer them. Not after May 19. Now.
