The character unlock system in Deadlock needs to be changed. I understand the reason for requiring players to have experience with a hero before using it in Ranked but the current requirement creates a lot of unnecessary time and frustration. Full post is in the image attachment.

it was up to the teams, but personally i wanted to play with it on default settings (30mins). obviously it’s broken tho you have 8s CD divine barrier and phantom strike and curse like hello..?

Pro teams participating in Deadlock Night Shift have collectively refused to use "The Broker" because it is unbalanced. Players dislike the item buffs and various other mechanics tied to "Cursed" items. Valve developers are watching the tournament, so changes might be coming soon.
