Toodles from MAVERICK🕊
Maverick was adopted from the NYCACC and returned one month later. Notes from the shelter: He is being surrendered due to his owner stating that maverick has broken from is kennel two times and has destructive behavior with house objects.
REALLY?
He did well at the shelter. He was rated level 2 which is pretty good. Being a black dog, his chances were slim.
We were able to pull him to safety but as soon as we did, the foster changed their mind and refused to take him. We knew we wanted to save him and by the grace of god, another experienced foster stepped up.
Maverick's profile said it was unknown how he was around dogs, but from the looks of things, he is totally fine with them.
Fosters make saving a life possible.
Maverick is a great dog and is now up for adoption.

This is Stanley. He grew these teeth himself. Thinks they came out pretty good for it being his first time. 12/10

Handsome Bruno needs a hero!
Police noticed signs of abuse when they were called to pick up Bruno the Brave #162411 from his “family” home. Yet he’s social, friendly and playful, “a mush” who’s also great with dogs. He’s been in NYCACC a month and is now kennel stressed and TBK Tuesday. He deserves a REAL family: please pledge RT Bruno!

Shine and Tiger have both been removed from the list. We are hoping for good news, but tbc.
Owner can no longer afford, Shine 165145 arrived with his sibling Tiger (second photo). Now Shine is TBK in NYCACC Saturday at just 11 months old. Anxious and separated from his sibling, he’s house trained, friendly and playful. Ideally they need to leave together, plwase let’s save them: pledge RT Shine and Tiger!
