Memphis is home to Elon Musk’s data center empire — and the polluting turbines xAI uses to power them appear to be making residents sick.
Justin Pearson has been leading the fight against them, and is now running for Congress to elevate the fight to protect his community.
Pearson is running in a district that Tennessee Republicans just gerrymandered, but in sticking to his progressive working class values, and channeling the rage at xAI's noise, pollution, and lawlessness, he could pull off a historic upset.
