I see dollar signs $ - for myself, that is. Most people take such poor care of their vehicles, I actually have more empathy for the car than the owner. Perfect example - I just had a customer who had a 200k+ mile vehicle that was COVERED with dirt, receipts, and candy wrappers. Disgusting..... I had candy and straw wrappers all over my shop.

They'd make a fortune selling these.
For ‘ALIEN 3’ (1992), the effects team created a full-body lifecast of Sigourney Weaver with no internal structure, allowing it to move like a real human body.

Look at the fucking comments. It's terrifying, but a growing number of people in America think this is somehow "good". Humanity's future does not involve archaic traditionalism, at least not MY humanity.

Well done @uapdog. I wouldn't have taken the time to ever respond to Kastrup, but I basically endorse the response that you give here based on my thinking. I would add that the OBE/NDE of an intelligent octopus would have a different perceptual structure than that of a human, because the psychical agents that perceive without the mediation of physical eyes ARE conditioned by the evolutionary biology of their respective species. What Puharich called the "nuclear entity" in "psi plasma" is still conditioned by evolutionary differentiation. (It is nothing like the Hindu "atman" that is falsely presumed to be capable of becoming one with the psychological projection that is imagined to be "Brahman.") This is another reason why Kastrup's binary is false, and naturalistic empiricism (let alone logic) still has a place AS A TOOL KIT or practical framework.

I'll never forget when I told this to my family and friends as a teenager. The reaction Christians have to this is PRICELESS! Seriously, I'd love to make a reality TV show triggering Christians with knowledge and information.
“The spirit of the gods (Ruach Elohim) was hovering over the waters” - Genesis 1:2 This means that Primordial Waters (plural) already existed before the Elohim created anything. So “creation from nothing” is not supported by Genesis. Also Elohim is plural, there’s multiple gods. Which one is first? We’re never told in Genesis. Yahweh or El (singular) doesn’t show up til later. Elohim (plural) is the only word used for the entire chapter for Genesis 1. Which means these are terrestrial gods creating from something that already existed from primordial times.

Some of humanity’s oldest myths contain the same warning: not to look back. Lot’s wife looks back at the world she was leaving and turns into a pillar of salt. Orpheus looks back for Eurydice before they have completely escaped the underworld and loses her. In Japanese mythology Izanagi looks back at Izanami in the land of the dead and discovers that the woman he remembers no longer exists. Different cultures, different stories, but all have the same message….that there are thresholds in life that can only be crossed by accepting that what was behind you is gone. This doesn’t mean we have to forget the past. But it does mean refusing to live there. The past can teach you, shape you, and become material for the Great Work, but it cannot be inhabited again. We become frozen when we keep trying to resurrect an old relationship, an old life, an old identity, or an old version of ourselves. Transformation requires something to die so that something else can be born. Sometimes the final test of an initiation is simply this: can you keep walking without turning around?

This:
This thread of replies epitomizes why the science of Parapsychology or Psychotronics has been so marginalized. It is as threatening to religious people — even if they are not adherents of one of the really retarded Abrahamic religions — as it is to pseudo-scientific materialists. The attitude about Yoga expressed here is a large part of why India is such a shithole, as compared to China — which despite its collectivism, has a much more empiricist culture (and, not incidentally, an advanced Psi research program).
