Here's the C-130 which crash landed in the DRC earlier today. Pic was taken on the way to Denel for upgrade to BZ standard, back in... 2004 I think.
Crazy. But also quite tragic. Doubt SAAF would have resources or budget to repair. Apparently this is number 403, the subject of my first ever air-to-air photoshoot, which took place shortly before she was upgraded from C-130B to BZ.
