We’ve held our first robotic surgery ‘super week’ for joint replacements, completing 17 operations, a mix of hip and knee replacements, across five days.
In an average week we’d do around six robotic joint replacements.

We’ve broken our own record for the number of gallbladder, hernia and colorectal operations completed in a day, treating 20 patients on Saturday 1 August.

A woman from Ilford is recovering after a rare 12-hour double cancer operation at King George Hospital. The procedure combined pelvic exenteration with heated chemotherapy and was only the third of its kind that we've carried out.
