META gave us a glimpse of the future yesterday.
They launched:
• 3rd-gen Ray-Ban Meta
• Oakley Meta Vanguard
• Meta Ray-Ban Display + META Neural Band (bracelet that lets you control the glasses with subtle gestures)
Zuck might have had a few fails during the event, but presentations focused on tech evolution are far more exciting than the boring ones $AAPL has been giving us in recent years.
I think the smartphone era is coming to an end.

I want to inform The New York Times that their coverage of Ukraine is handled by a not-so-bright journalist who doesn’t even know that I am a current Member of Parliament. And no, I am not "serving a sentence for treason" - I am in pre-trial detention under the personal order of the Greatest "Democracy Leader" of all times, Zelensky.
Fake news, as Mr. Trump would say.
I have officially submitted a retraction request to The New York Times regarding their February 27, 2025 article, which contains numerous factual errors and false information that damage my reputation.
nytimes.com/2025/02/27/world…
Specifically, the article claims:
- That I am a "former member of parliament." This is not true: I am a current Member of the Ukrainian Parliament. I also occupy the position of Deputy Chief at The Taxation and Financial Committee at the Parliament of Ukraine.
- That I am "serving a sentence for treason." This is also false: I am under arrest and awaiting trial, which has not yet taken place. I am not serving a sentence, as I have not been convicted of any crime.
- That my statements allegedly "echo Russian propaganda." This is a subjective interpretation by journalists, not supported by any evidence. This media claimed Trump as a russian agent too.
- That I "promote a pro-russian agenda." I have never expressed support for Russia or its policies, I am under Russian sanctions since 2021, and my positions are exclusively pro-Ukrainian and focused on national sovereignty.
- That I am a "russian agent." This is an outright lie. I am not a pro-Russian politician, but a Ukrainian politician with a different political perspective than Zelensky. Disagreeing with Zelensky’s policies does not make someone a russian agent - it makes them an independent thinker.
These and other distortions in The New York Times article not only mislead readers but also deliberately create a false image of my activities.
In light of this, I:
- Demand an immediate retraction of this misinformation by The New York Times and the publication of corrections.
Reserve the right to file a lawsuit for the dissemination of false information that causes reputational damage.
I am determined to defend my name and interests within the framework of the law and will use all available legal mechanisms to counteract disinformation.

I watched the entire press conference with Zelensky. There was 40 minutes of discussion up to the argument. Most people saw at most the last ten minutes. The whole video gives the proper context.
When I first watched the argument without the proper context, I thought it was possible that Trump and Vance ambushed Zelensky or were even trying to humiliate him. That's not what happened.
You had 40 minutes of calm conversation. Vance made a point that didn't attack Zelensky and wasn't even addressed to him, and Zelensky clearly started the argument.
In the first 40 minutes, Zelensky kept trying to go beyond what was negotiated in the deal. When Trump was asked a question, it was always "we'll see." Zelensky made blanket assertions that there would be no negotiating with Putin, and that Russia would pay for the war. When Trump said that it was a tragedy that people on both sides were dying, Zelensky interjected that the Russians were the invaders.
For his part, Trump made clear that the US would continue delivering military aid. All Zelensky had to do was remain calm for a few more minutes and they would've signed a deal.
The argument started when Trump pointed out that it would be hard to make a deal if you talk about Putin the way Zelensky does. Vance interjects to make the reasonable point that Biden called Putin names and that didn't get us anywhere.
The Zelensky/Trump dynamic was calm and stable. It was when Vance spoke that Zelensky started to interrogate him. Throughout the press conference to that point, everyone was making their arguments directly to the audience. Zelensky decided to challenge Vance and ask him hostile questions. He went back to his point that Putin never sticks to ceasefires, once again implying that negotiations are pointless. Why on earth would you do this? Then came the fight we all saw.
Zelensky was minutes away from being home free, and he would have had the deal and new commitments from the Trump administration. The point Vance made was directed against Biden and the media, taking them to task for speaking in moralistic terms. This offended Zelensky, and that began the argument.
I've been a fan of Zelensky up to this point, but this showed so much incompetence, if not emotional instability, that I don't see how he recovers from this. The relationship with the administration is broken. Ukraine should probably go with new leadership at this point.

JUST IN: President Biden admits that the 'Inflation Reduction Act' was not actually about inflation after he started ranting without the teleprompter.
Holy sh*t.
Biden said the Inflation Reduction Act was actually about funding Climate Change efforts and said the Act should have actually been named something different.
"Through my investments, the most significant climate change law ever. And by the way, it is a $369 billion bill."
"It's called the [Inflation Reduction Act]. We should have named it what it was."
