🧵A record of what your AI agents did, and who allowed it. That is the problem @dovuofficial is building to solve on @hedera As banks begin letting AI agents approve payments, move money and delegate work to other agents, DOVU is building an independent record of authority and action. The hard question is not just: “What happened?” It is: “Can you prove the agent was allowed to act at that exact moment?” 👇 Traditional audit logs record what a system says happened. That is not enough when the system being examined wrote the log. You also need to know: • Was the agent allowed to act? • Who granted that authority? • What were the limits? • Was the permission still valid at that moment? • When was it revoked? Here is the important distinction: Current authority is not the same as point-in-time authority. Example: 14:01 → an agent approves a payment within its limit. 14:02 → the permission is revoked. Both facts have to remain true. A later revocation must not rewrite the fact that the agent was authorized when the payment occurred. That is what @dovuofficial calls Authority Trail. Identity tells you who the agent is. Authority Trail records what it was allowed to do, who granted that authority, the limits, delegation and revocation. And crucially, that history sits outside the system being audited. Then comes Flow. Flow records the process itself, step by step. Before a step is recorded, it checks Authority Trail for the permission behind it. So: Authority Trail → who was allowed to do what Flow → what actually happened Person, system or AI agent. Same model. Underneath that sits @hedera. DOVU writes these records to a public ledger, creating timestamped history that neither the institution being audited nor DOVU can later rewrite. Sensitive customer data and documents stay inside existing systems. The public record provides the independent proof needed to verify the action and the authority behind it. That creates a simple chain: Identity → Authority → Action → Independent Record And that distinction becomes increasingly important as autonomous agents enter financial infrastructure. It is not enough to prove: “The agent did this.” You may also need to prove: “The agent had authority to do this when it happened.” That is the layer DOVU is building on Hedera.
