This is unrelated to Dissidia or Final Fantasy, but as someone who has experienced Jun Maeda's creations, I feel that I have to post my thoughts about the latest news. It reminds me of what our dear FFXIV composer, Masayoshi Soken, went through a few years ago. This is a stark reminder that our beloved game creators are normal people. They can go through the same difficulties as we do. Despite Maeda's decision to go for palliative care over active treatment, I sincerely hope that he will receive the help he needs to eventually recover. In a world where misery and tragedies are rampant, I also feel that I should avoid dedicating my thoughts to a single person. I truly wish the world would become a better place for everyone, regardless of their origin or location.

I wonder what would’ve happened if Duellum was released as originally envisioned, before it got shrunk down. Of course, that assumption might be baseless. Maybe the Steam/Switch hints in the code were just left over from a base project. #DISSIDIA #FinalFantasy #DDFF
