Congratulations to outgoing second XI skipper Jimmy Last on a very successful 4 year stint in charge. The wicketkeeper bat took the side from the bottom of division 6 to promotion during his tenure, and the club would like to thank him for his efforts and commitment 👏👏👏
The final walk-ons of the night. Jimmy Last and Daniel Betts take on the young yellows. Whilst Harry Last and Will Grainger take on Peacock and Bartrum. Nobody in the crowd sure why the pilots have come out to The Chase theme tune. #TheBeast #TheChaseIsOn
On board 2 - Part time lovers, Robert Tooke & Stu Taylor take on our very own Chuckle Brothers, Jody Sparrow and Mark Williamson. Sparrow keen to defend his crown. Quite the entrance from Tooke and Taylor
Time for the next round. On board 1 - Kevvy Bartrum and Drew Peacock take on David Tooke and Lewis Taylor. Bartrum & Peacock in the zone, with rumours they're desperate to take home the cash.
On board 2 - The Skilleter brothers take on the Mitchell (Cresswell) brothers. Walk-ons certainly taken to another level!
First up on board 1 we've got the big hitting all rounders taking on the young yellows. James Harbour & Jordon Warren take on Nat Bartrum and James Lord. GAME ON!
The 2s beat Old Buckenham by 28 runs in a 35 over match. Andy Gregory and Harry Skilleter both made 46 in our 177-7. In reply, James Skilleter recovered from emptying his wallet on holiday to take 3-25. The team travel to Bungay for their final match of the season next week
First XI close out their season with superb 59 run win at Fakenham. Rob Tooke scored 78 and Daniel Tebble 41 as we post 196-6, despite being 32-4 at one stage in a rain reduced 40 over contest. In reply, Mark Willliamson took 4-17 and Lewis Taylor 3-33 as we finish with a W!
Excellent innings from Will Woodhead sees Horsford chase 180 in the final over. Superb game of cricket that could have gone either way!
Another superb Jordon Warren ton isn’t enough as the seconds fall to defeat against Mellis. 3 games remain in the second XI campaign as they look to finish the season on a high
A win for the ages! Sheringham go from 146-0 to 194 all out, in reply we are 50-5 and 132-7 before an unbeaten 💯 from Robert Tooke and a nerveless 19 from Damon Cresswell sees us put on 64 for the 8th wicket. Some balls on this team!
Excellent turnout for senior nets this evening. Joel Roden stealing the show with a brand new perm and an impressive spray tan
