When I first met him, out of awe and awkwardness I fiddled with my hair. He slapped my hand away and said 'hero ki tarah Baal mat bana...tu actor hai'!
He didn't flatter you. He didn't tell you what you wanted to hear. He told you what you needed to hear. That was Nana. Straightforward. Rough, honest and had the most beautiful smile.
He always had a strange way of showing affection. He would shout at you first, and then somewhere between the third or fourth insult, you realised you were being hugged. He loved me and I loved him back.
He was a mentor, a teacher, a critic and a friend who beat me and everyone else around him in carrom game after game and relished his victories.
Nana your intensity, laughter , madness and love will always stay with us. I just wish we had time to have more conversations, another argument, another cup of tea and a game of carrom.
You have left a void not only in the world of cinema but in the hearts of all Indians and the world. All I can say is, I will miss you dearly and carry your words in my heart till the end of time....'hero banne ke chakar mein actor mat khona'
May your soul rest in peace Nana and Allah bless you. The Heavens will be blessed to have you... a masterful actor and an unbeatable carrom champion. Love you and miss you dearly!! Too soon my Hero Actor! RIP.

Is this really the state of law and order in India?
When those meant to protect citizens start intimidating them and misusing their authority, it raises serious questions.
@HYDP @TelanganaCOPs @asadowaisi Kindly look into this matter.
@HYDP @TelanganaCOPs
URGENT COMPLAINT regarding the conduct of a traffic police officer, M Sai Krishna, near Banjara Hills, Road No. 14.opposite kbr park
The officer forcibly took the vehicle keys, used rough and intimidating language, and threatened to seize our vehicle and call additional police personnel. He was also insisting that we put up barricading, which is not our responsibility.
Instead of explaining the traffic rules/procedure professionally, the officer appeared to be using his position to intimidate us and show authority.
What is even more concerning is that his own colleagues indicated that his behaviour is not appropriate. There were also allegations made in our presence that he lets people go after taking money. I am not making this allegation as an established fact; I request the department to investigate and verify it through CCTV, available footage and witnesses.
I request @HYDP and @TelanganaCOPs to investigate this incident, identify the officer
Citizens deserve respectful treatment, not intimidation or misuse of authority.

A very Happy Independence Day to all..
There’s something special about being Indian...the colours, the contrasts, the beautiful differences, the spirit and above all, the feeling of belonging to something much bigger than ourselves...our Country.
May we always value what we have and do our little bit to make our country proud.
Proud to be an Indian and love being one. Jai Hind!

How dare you threaten students for exercising their democratic rights?
Please note, you are the ones that will be held accountable when the time comes.
Dear students and faculty, your safety matters to us. Please note that any unlawful assemblies or demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, which are strictly regulated as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, may invite legal action. Such activities can also pose serious risks to students’ personal safety and significantly impact their academic progress and professional opportunities. Accordingly, all students are urged to stay away from Jantar Mantar and to prioritise their safety and compliance with the law. Furthermore, you are advised to exercise caution as a significant amount of fake and misleading content is being created and circulated to fuel the situation.

The core tenets of the Modi government are Asatya and Hinsa.
The removal of Sonam Wangchuk ji from Jantar Mantar while he was on a non-violent hunger strike is wrong.
Paper leaks, the rising cost of education, and student suicides are critical issues for India’s future.
No amount of force can deter India’s students, and those of us who love and believe in them, from raising these issues.
