Experts should #talkAboutSudanBetter, to make conflict context and factors emerge fully in public discourse, as is done for Ukraine & Palestine. Just "talking about it" strengthens ideas of unexplained violence, /1
An ongoing conflict for nearly a year has devastated #Sudan, forcing millions to flee. Approximately 8.5 million people have been displaced. In February, the UN estimated that 25 million, including 14 million children, are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance.
