bitcoin the only asset where losing yours makes everyone else's worth more..
Bitcoin surpassed 20.07 million coins mined as of August 2026, leaving only 4.4% more supply. I'd estimate 10-20% of existing bitcoins are lost/stuck/unrecoverable. It's a deflationary asset.

under the april agreement, @SpaceX could have paid $10 billion to keep the partnership going. Cursor stays independent, everyone keeps using it. instead, with anysphere raising at a $50 billion valuation and a16z and thrive involved, they paid another $10 billion to own the whole product. to me, that says the real value wasn't just the model. it was the product engineers use every day. owning the interface was worth more than cheaper access..
Cursor is now part of @SpaceX. Today, we have officially closed our acquisition. We will join the @spacexai team to help make Grok the world's most useful AI and improve Grok Build, Grok Bot, Grok API, Cursor, and more. SpaceX has built some of the most inspiring and impressive technology in the world, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to become part of such a special company. Onwards.

Good morning.. we're lucky just to be awake for this, and most of us never stop to notice it.. but morning might be the only luck that comes for free. everything else gets chosen. a teacher who stays late. a stranger who covers your bill. someone who picks up right when you need them to. the sun rises the same for everyone. deciding who deserves a better day today, though; that takes a person. @mitchjonez does exactly that. he sits in front of the most indifferent machine there is, and does what it never could.. he chooses someone lucky..

$35.3 trillion is insane... the infrastructure behind it is incredibly impressive; @base may have built the most extensive automated liquidity system in crypto. around 92% of base’s usdc volume comes from aerodrome LP rebalancing, morpho flash loans, and bots paying bots.. the remaining volume for actual trading, payroll, and remittances is only in the low single digits of $35.3 trillion, which isn’t exactly a Visa-competitive figure. I’m not criticizing the number, just the word next to it. I’d be curious to see coinbase actual merchant-facing volume after stripping out the defi infrastructure..
Base is the leading chain for payments.

paybox can do a lot more than simple swaps. I'm having claude make automated payments and test an investment hypothesis using real on-chain data; it does it in seconds. a great example of what's possible with @PayBox
hello @claudeai, tell me how my crypto portfolio is doing make no mistakes

Good morning. 310 days since the peak.. and it just won't end.. why? because the so-called bitcoin believers keep selling. Michael Saylor's company sold again this week.. "never sell your bitcoin" turned out to be personal advice, not a company promise, apparently. his own stack, though? untouched. honestly, that might be the most honest thing he's said in years, and nobody's giving him credit for it. conviction is free when nothing's asking you for cash..

Good morning.. i think what matters more than Bitcoin price this week is what's happening in the background. BTC was our hope and our salvation, wasn't it? something you could hold onto instead of mortgaging your future to get through today. right now miners are handing over thousands of coins as collateral for loans, and while institutions run most of the actual buying and selling, retail investors are arguing about fear and greed numbers. turns out it wasn't salvation. it was collateral.. #Gm

Good morning.. the world is one day, and that day is today. looking in the mirror this morning, I thought about this.. I don't think life is actually short. I think today is dangerously long, and that's the actual problem. we live like the years are running out, then we treat today, tomorrow, like we have endless time; one more tomorrow, one more 'later.' the years aren't running out. We're wasting the only time we actually have, which is whatever's in front of us right now.. years don't kill a life. they kill our mornings, one at a time. You don't need another decade. You need today..

Good morning.. something about crypto's been bugging me.. bitcoin:native is sitting almost exactly where it was two months ago, like nothing happened. financial advisors have never held this much bitcoin. institutional adoption just hit a record. money's flowing in from everywhere. the price? just shrugs it off. this week a bitcoin ETF announced it's closing. the first one ever to close. right as everyone who matters rotates into $AI stocks. everything points up. the price isn't listening.. 🤷‍♂️

Good morning. I haven't been sleeping well lately, so I opened bitcoin:native last four cycles and started counting days. the three peaks before this one all landed in the same calendar window; late november, mid-dec. almost a decade apart.. this cycle broke that pattern. it peaked in oct. the eaarliest on record. at the point we're at today, in the last two cycles the market was still calm and people said "okay, that's it"? but there was more.. the real bottom showed up two to two and a half months later, and that's when things got worse. I'm not predicting anything. I just don't trust the silence, because there were exactly two periods with this much silence, right before it happened..

hit 150 transactions on Paybox today. noticed some interesting stuff along the way.. @moonpay said 224k people signed up in the first 24 hours after launch, joked they "might've broken claude"... not entirely a joke tbh. - getting to 150 transactions, the thing that stood out to me most; your key never sits whole anywhere. not in moonpay, not in the ai, not on your phone alone; no single piece has enough to sign by itself. @ivanhodl said it best; 'the card hid the cash, the phone hid the card; money disappears into conversation now. feels like we're watching that happen in real time. every previous "ai + wallet" attempt asked you to trust the ai. this one doesn't ask you to trust anyone; the architecture (mpc + tee) makes it structurally impossible. Robinhood opened up ai agent trading a few months ago, but their own terms are blunt about it; if the agent messes up, monitoring the account is on you, not them. moonpay went the other way. instead of pushing responsibility onto the user, they built a system where no single party (not even moonpay) can move funds unilaterally. the design was audited by trail of bits and ncc group. x402 underneath has moved ~150m transactions / $40m in the last month, avg payment ~30 cents. an agent paying for thousands of tiny things a day, fully autonomous. visa, mastercard, stripe, shopify, aws, cloudflare, anthropic are all backing the standard now; the model you're reading this on is already part of the rail money moves through.. not sure if it's too early to call paybox a revolution, but we're living through a pretty important moment..

Good morning.. I asked four different ai models for their august $BTC price prediction.. their answers ranged from $50k to $99k even the best models disagree by nearly $50k over the last 60 days, large wallets have withdrawn 67k btc from exchanges. during the same period, mid-sized holders sold around 78,000 BTC. exchange reserves are now at a 7-year low. @cz_binance said we're in a bear market, but I think this is a good time to accumulate.. what if I'm wrong about this one too? #Gm

so useful and seamless I didn't even notice I'd crossed 110+ transactions. everything on Paybox just runs quietly in the background, by the time I'd think "wait, do I need to approve this," it's already done. 110+ activities this week alone, zero manual friction.. next up; letting my wallet watch every subscription I have and auto-switch the moment one raises its price; so instead of me noticing a price hike three months late, my wallet just handles it before I even open the app.. #moonpay $btc

Good morning.. we only remember how something feels once there's a reward attached to it.. @moonpay dropped PayBox two days ago. free usdc landed in people's wallets. crypto twitter lost it.. people were more alive than they'd been in weeks. but it wasn't the money doing that; it was just a reason to check. thirty dollars changes nothing. what changed things was the chance of finding something every time you opened your phone.. credit where it's due though; the engineering under PayBox is the good.. mpc wallets split across passkeys so no single party, not moonpay, not the ai reading your prompt, can move funds alone. non-custodial from day one, seven chains live at launch, and chatgpt or claude can prepare a transaction but never touch the keys. that's a genuinely hard problem, solved cleanly. that reason used to just be being alive. now waking up with zero notifications doesn't mean anything, we basically built a whole excitement machine around a coupon. the funniest part is the faucet was already ours. it was always there, we just forgot how to turn it on.. moonpay just built a good tap.. $Btc $Sol #Gm

Kaito came back with some good updates yesterday. katalyst solves two problems at once. @KaitoAI still measures mindshare, but now projects can also reward creators for things like clicks, sign-ups, deposits, and real user activity.. @brevis_zk handles the verification layer. it's the same architecture kaito has been building with for a while, so actions can be verified without exposing users' wallets.. for tge campaigns, the reward pool is committed before anyone posts. when rewards are distributed, 80% goes to the creators who actually drove results, while 20% goes to $kaito stakers and pendle yt-skaito holders. creators earn more when they perform, and long-term supporters benefit too. the only thing i'd watch closely is incentives. once rewards depend on sign-ups or deposits, someone will eventually try to game the system. i'd rather see long-term users weighted more heavily than people who show up for a day and disappear. one request for kaito and @Punk9277 ;please add an "other" option alongside x, tiktok, instagram, and youtube so creators can link another platform of their choice. kaito seems to have thought this through much more carefully this time.. #Gm $AI

this morning i caught myself thinking about something. we spend so much of our lives building things we. already know we can't keep. houses, cars. $btc ,savings, status, even how people remember us. deep down we know none of it comes with us, but we still protect it like it belongs to us foorever.. maybe nobody tells you this when you're young... one day you realize you spent years guarding things you were only borrowing.. #Gm

Good morning.. two crypto exchanges announced they're shutting down within days of each other. @BitMEX ,after 11 years, never lost a dollar of customer funds to a hack. it wasn't a hack that buried it either; the ideas it pioneered just became everyone else's business. @BitMartExchange ,after 9 years, lost $196 million to a hack back in 2021. now it's shutting down for reasons it won't even name. neither the clean record nor the past mistake decided the outcome. They both just stopped, four days apart. meanwhile, a dutch exchange lost €7 million of customer funds earlier this month. barely made headlines. we've started treating that as normal. thaat's the part that bothers me.. we never built an industry that rewards integrity. we built one where integrity isn't even enough. and bitcoin:native has chopped between $58k and $65k for six weeks, still roughly half its old peak; like everyone already knows: the price gets rescued. the idea never does.. #Gm #bit
